Recently on a few occasions, when I have been on a run my Blaze has shut down. I have had to do a left button/right button reset when I have finished to get my watch back. There is plenty of battery each time and it doesn't happen every time but it can be quite frustrating when I am wanting to log my runs. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It's great to have you here @paulw1974! I would like you to restart your Blaze to avoid any malfunction in the future.
Additionally, reply to the following questions:
- Is your Blaze display going black while in the run exercise?
- Is it losing all the steps or just the run data?
- Does it just turn off and on?

My Blaze is doing a similar thing...it just turns off either during exercise or as last night whilst sitting in a restaurant. I charged it yesterday so the battery is fine. It only turns back on when i polug it into the charger then it works OK. Very frustrating .....

My Blaze is doing a similar thing it just turns off for no reason...last night it turned off whilst I was sitting in a restaurant. It was charged yesterday and will work OK as long as I plug it into the charger to give it a jump start...obviously I don't carry the charger around with me so its very frustrating

Yes it does seem to go blank during runs only. That being said I recorded a run today with no problems so it is inconsistent.
I think it retains the steps and just loses the run data.
No, i turns off and I have to restart it.

Their is a reason tyat it turns off, my thoughts are tyat tye battery is unable to dupply enough current. This would be especially the case for @snapej while in the restaurant. It might be the phone tried to do a sync, and the Blaze could not get enough power.
In any case tye best thing to do is contact fitbit, link can be found in the top right and under help in the app.
