Blaze inconsistent with distance tracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

On Friday I went on a walk/jog and my Blaze recorded a 2.47mi distance. Today I traveled the exact same path and my Blaze recorded 2.19mi. What's with the inconsistency? How do I know which is accurate?

Hello @ChristineKh where you using the connected GPS and see a map of your wqlk?

If not then Fitbit uses the stride setting, has this been set?

Was your step count close for both days?

@Rich_Laue, the bottom is a map of my Friday run and the top is today's. I notice today's looks more staggered. Also my Blaze kept vibrating during my workout today, it wasn't detecting a heart rate. Could it be bad connection? I've had my Blaze for less than a week.

Difference in steps between my two runs is about 60, so I'm not concerned about that.

Yes it could be a bad connection, the Blaze will vibrate any time it loses or connects back to the phones GPS.

I clear out excess apps and do a restart of the phone.freeing up memory on the android phone seems to help
