Blaze map is not correct

This week my Blaze is not calculating my exercise route correctly.  I’ve done the same route for months, and it’s 1.3-1.4 miles (I understand that it varies based on GPS calculations).  Yesterday and today it showed the route as the correct route, but yesterday was 0.5 miles and today was 0.7 miles.  How do I fix it?  My app is up to date on my phone, and it doesn’t say that I have an update for my watch; my battery is fully charged, and my phone is with me for the entire workout.

It's great to see you here @Jenniferussell1.

Can you please tell me how are you logging your activity and which one is? Is your tracker connecting properly with your phone? If it isn't, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provide there. If the issue persists, feel free to provide me with a screenshot.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

I log the activity by selecting Exercise, and then walk.  I wait until it is connected to the phone, and then hit play/start.  It shows the correct route and time duration, but the distance (and thus the pace are not correct).  It was correct every day until 9/23/18, and then it started being incorrect on 10/8/18.

Any thoughts?  It is still showing the correct route and duration, but not the correct distance or pace.  This is very frustrating.  I use my Fitbit to track my exercise, but at this rate I’m going to have to stop using Fitbit for that.  Runkeeper and MapMyRun track the route and distance correctly, so I know my phone is working correctly.  Fitbit is tracking the exact same route as the other programs, but for some reason this week it will not calculate the distance.  Please actually respond, as it has been over 24 hours with no response from Fitbit Support.

Thanks for the update and the screenshots @Jenniferussell1.

I have the same problem with my distance changing when I run the exact same path. Can you share the fix with me? I am using a Samsung S5 active and a Blaze.

Thanks.

This example is a walk that was taken. The top one is using my fitbit in exercise mode. The bottom is tracking the exact same walk using the Fitbit app on my phone. One says the distance is 1.2 miles and the other is .57 miles. Again this is the exact same path taken at the same time. Any ideas?

There was no fix.  Fitbit support chose not to ever respond to me or offer solutions . I’ve switched over to Apple Watch for tracking via my wrist, and MapMyRun for on my phone.  I use my One to track steps, but that’s it.

I was hoping that Fitbit might contact me to get more information. At this point, I am ready to move on from Fitbit and try a different brand.
