Blaze = no distance

So... I can not get distance data from a 30 min run with blaze unless I have my phone with me.... That's multiple tech generations behind the curve; the tracker still adds on total mileage but not for that session.

Hi there @mileageman19. Good to see you in the Forums!

If you're using your GPS while running, it can be that the signal is not strong enough. This will affect the mapping that you will get at the end of your run but It's strange that you don't get the distance for it. Is there a chance you can share a screenshot of how that activity log looks for you?

If you are using the manual tracking function, I agree with @FerdinandFitbit even without a phone connection the Blaze will use the stride to calculate distance.

@mileageman19 you did not say which option was used when tracking the 30 minute run, but if you let the Blaze auto detect the run then no, there will not be any milage recorded. The run needs to be tracked by manual starting, with or not hour the phone. When there is no phone, to save battery, turn the GPS option off.
