Blaze not holding charge.

The blaze advertises a 5 day battery. When I orginially got it, it would last 2-3, which I thought was no big deal because I played with it alot. However, the last week or so my battery seems to be draining. Yesterday I let it fully charged and have made it a point to not play with it excessively since it was charged. It has been about 20 hours and I have < 1/4th battery remaining. Is there something going on in the background that is just draining my battery? I didnt pay this much to charge my watch daily and I can't find why the battery won't last.

Hello all, I hope you are doing great.

If you are having battery issues with your trackers, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provide there. Also, I would like to know which one of you have contacted our support team regarding this, have they offer a solution?

Just keeping my blaze going by charging every other day or so until the new Apple Watch comes out, this is my 6th Fitbit and unfortunately will be my last.

I love the FirBit solution to extend battery life.

To summarize it: turn off all the features that attracted me to buy a FitBit in the first place.

Don't all-day sync, use HR or receive notifications

Google Fit works just fine.

I said in my initial email that I spoke to the support person by phone and only suggestion was to buy a new tracker (Charge II, Blaze or Flex II) at 25% dis count or Ionic for 40% off.

Why buy

My blaze is only days out the the two year warranty. The fully charged battery last 3 hours. I complained and the response I got was very poor. I won’t be buying anymore of their crap with an after service like that. The one email read like it had been written by a child.

I don’t think so.
I’m going to the apple store tomorrow to buy myself a much more reliable and a lot cooler Apple Watch.
It has more features and from what I’ve read has far fewer problems Fitbit consider this a divorce.
The lesson I’ve learned from this is, I should never have bought the piece of junk in the first place

Thanks

This is my 5th Fitbit the one was the only good one that lasted, all the other ones had band problems I went through 3 surges now have a blaze was told I would love it by the Fitbit sales person. Doesn't hold charge longer than two days with everything turned off. I just hope it lasts to the fall so I can get the new I watch 4 I wish these fitbits lasted 300 Dollors is too much for a 1 to 2 year watch. I love my data that I have saved don't won't to lose it but not paying 2 to 300 Dollors every year or two.

I had also the same battery problem with my blaze.

The assistance offered me a 25% discount on the purchase of a new smartwatch.
Unfortunately, in spite of myself, I will not buy a fitbit product because I no longer consider fitbit a reliable product.
I hope this my experience can be useful.

I found this conversation last night.   I've been having the same sudden battery problem.    I would get 4 days off a charge and suddenly less than a day.    I followed the instructions to turn everything off and now it's about a day.

I had the same problem about a year ago and Fitbit sent me a new blaze pebble.    Now a year later here I am again.    Called support, but warranty over.   I love my Fitbit.   I took the discount to get a raplacement blaze which should come Saturday.    If the problem happens a year from now it will be off to someone else.

But today on my phone there is an update to the fitbit app which mentions a workaround to the battery problem.    Did I just buy a replacement I don't need?     Will my current blaze come back to doing a 4 day charge?    What's up Fitbit?

Wake up fibit, can you not see the multiples of people having the same issue? There is absolutely nothing that support can offer to resolve this issue. The problem is your product simply is defective, bad design, poor battery life. I would love to know the total count of people with the same issue including those whose warranty is still valid that have been pacified with another watch that will have the same battery problem. Own up and admit this watch was a poor design!

We contacted FitBit a number of times since mid may

They kept telling me to Charge it fully run it down sync it and they contact them.

Problem with me, is my wife does not really carry her cell phone. So no way to sync it just at some time

Not to mention it does not seem to like to sync.

I was always having to reboot it to get it to sync (with her Note 4)

It would go for a week or 2 fine, then it would have a full charge in the morning and later that same day it would be dead

Finally I called and insisted they replace it and after getting a manager they agreed to replace it.

It took a LOT of time on the phone to do it though.

I just hope I get a good one.

200 is a LOT of money for us!

Overall very disappointed in the Product and the Customer Service

I gave up on Fitbit and saved up for an Apple Watch. It’s infinitely better.
