Blaze not syncing to Mac / MacBook Pro

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I recently purchased my Blaze and have set it up using my iPhone (the iPhone app). It has worked great with that so far. I downloaded Fitbit Connect for Mac in an attempt to sync my Blaze to my MacBook Pro, and it isn't working. I paired my Blaze to my computer via Bluetooth and also tried plugging the charging cable into the computer to see if that would work (I read that Blaze is supposed to sync via the charging cable to your computer). Still nothing. Fitbit Connect keeps saying "Turn on Bluetooth" after I click Sync Now. But, my Bluetooth is already on, and connected to my Blaze! There is also an error message saying "Couldn't Find Wireless Sync Dongle" when I click on the Fitbit Connect icon in my menu bar. Has anyone successfully synced their Blaze to their Mac or PC?

@Lillian_this depends on how new your Mac is, the newer ones don't need a dongle.

Have you tried turning your Mac off then power up?

Also if you have your phone with you their is no advantage in syncing through The Mac. The website doesn't care how the sync gets to the server

Hi there,
Thanks for this! My Macbookpro is a couple of years old. I don't like
phones (running a business I keep a simple one freed up for that and that
alone) and I just wanted to sync my blaze with my mac. It appears everyone
has the same problem. I have iPads for the business and they'll probably
sync just fine. I think it's ridiculous that Fitbit can't make an
adjustment to suit macbookpro. Weird!
Thanks so much!

@Lillian think you should contact Fitbit as @tirel12 suggested.

When it comes to your MackbookPro, Fitbit requires Bluetooth 4.0LE

I've noticed That MacBook pro have Bluetooth 4.0,back to 2012, before that they where not compatible with Fitbit.

I was finally able to sync my Blaze with my 2015 MacBook Pro using the Fitbit Connect App. It worked as soon as I turned off the Bluetooth to my iPhone! I guess it was confused with 2 devices close to it.
