Blaze records sleep stage wrong

My Blaze recently started recording my sleep starting at 2am regardless of when I went to sleep. When I manually edit and enter my real sleep time all my data shows up, ex when I fell asleep and time I woke up before that weird 2am mark. Anyone else? I have restarted.

Seperate issue, I got a Galaxy S9+ and since then I dont get the whole text on my fitbit, just a message saying "Message". I miss reading my txts on my fitbit.

Welcome to the Forums @KellyBG2018.

Let me help you out with both issues. I'll be moving your thread to the Blaze board as I think it is better suited for it.

In regards to the sleep tracking, you can read more about how sleep is tracked by clicking here or here. I'd recommend checking both articles to verify what could be happening and why is your sleep only tracked after that specific time.

As for the notifications, please try following these steps. I'm sure that they will help you get this situation resolved.

Let me know if there are any further questions.

Ok randomly last night it finally recorded the proper beginning sleep time. Maybe I was wearing it too loose.
I am receiving a txt message from the fitbit, hut like I said, it only says "Message" and I learned I had to click on it and the only details that pop up are the time it was sent. I cannot read my text messages. I think this only happened after I changed phones from a Samsung Galaxy S6 to a Samsung Galaxy S9+. When I check for my device on the 'compatible devices' on the fitbit site, it doesnt even have the S9 or S9+ listed. Any ideas?

Hello @KellyBG2018.

Glad to read that the sleep is now tracking accurately.

As for the text messages, the S9+ should be added to the list soon, but we do not have any further details on the matter. Having said that, let's try to follow these steps to get the messages to work properly:

  1. Open your "Messages" app on your Android device.
  2. Go to "Settings."
  3. Click on "Notifications."
  4. Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Preview Message".

That should do the trick! Please keep me posted.
