If needing the Fitbit Dongle then it can be purchased from the Fitbit Store. @mlbne

So are you saying that a dongle is REQUIRED for a Blaze? MaryLouise

No a dongle is not required, notice i did not yell. the Blaze is designed to integrate nicely with the phone app. It is not required with any compatable phones, and newer Win10 computers with BTLE won't need the dongle. if want to sync through a Mac, this is not necessary and redundant with a cell phone, the dongle will be needed.
I'm sure Fitbit sees that most people will not be buying the Blaze unless they have or are getting a compatable phone.

@ENH The Blaze does not ship with a dongle, but you can sync and setup your Blaze on computer if you have it plugged into a USB port. If you have a computer accessible, you can download the Fitbit Connect software here and then go through the computer setup instructions listed here.
@mlbne A dongle is not required to sync your Blaze with a computer. If you have a dongle already, the Blaze can sync to it, but you can also sync your Blaze by plugging the charging cable into a computer's USB port.
@SassyPants-21 The Blaze syncs to the Fitbit App just as other Fitbit trackers do.
Fitbit trackers sync with Fitbit Connect every 15 minutes if it is near your computer and the wireless sync dongle is plugged in. Note that Fitbit Blaze doesn't come with a dongle. To sync a Blaze with your computer, put the tracker into the charging cradle and plug the other end into a USB port.
Hope this provides some clarification!

I can hear the frustration. I deleted my Charge from the app on my Galaxy 5. As indicated on posts, turn off and turned no Bluetooth. Forget Windows 10, using the mobile app. It was still taking a long time to load firmware. Aha...turned off my phone and restarted it!
I got a progress bar underneath the set up icon on the watch. It still took a while, but it appears to be working. It has save all my old data from my charge. Hope this helps.
