ISSUE: Can't sync or pair Blaze with an iOS device
BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSIONS AFFECTED: (8.301.7) & (8.200.3)
iOS VERSIONS AFFECTED: 10.2.x
*** FIXED IN BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSION (8.301.8) ***
Still having trouble? Can't update or sync?
Read the difference between unbonding and unpairing first:
Unbonding - going into the bluetooth settings of your iPhone or iPad, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Forget This Device".
Unpairing - going into the Fitbit app, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Remove This Blaze".
*** DO NOT DO THIS TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE ***
Now that you've read that, try unbonding BEFORE trying to update your Blaze firmware (see screenshots below):
Okay, I've unbonded. Now what?
Try syncing your Blaze, then try to update the firmware.
Still can't sync or update? Here are some suggestions:

I keep finding that my blaze has turned off the bluetooth under the setting on the blaze itself. I have to turn it to pair numerous times a day and it never stays paired. I also am not getting my text or call notifications anymore. I have an android and have the latest update. Help, this is frustrating.

I'm unable to get the update without my Bluetooth Enabled.

Device is updated to iOS 10.2, my Blaze I was able to update via my computer to the 8.301.8 version, but I still cannot pair the Blaze back to my phone after following these instructions to "resolve" my issue (I went through device settings and had my phone Forget my Blaze). In the Blaze settings menu, Bluetooth Classic is OFF, and my phone cannot see the Blaze as a device available to pair. Each time I toggle the Bluetooth Classic ON, the Blaze freezes up and reboots itself. After a few power cycles on the Blaze and my iPhone 7, I'm not entirely sure what next steps to take.

So this recent fix repaired the syncing issue and displaying the incorrect time on my tracker but it seems to have caused another problem. The hart rate monitor which was working fine prior to this fix, even though it didn't sync has now stopped working. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what's the fix for this?

I've done all of the above and still can't get my blaze and iPhone to sync. This is so frustrating! I have the latest version and everything is up to date. Help!

None of this worked for me!
I removed my Blaze from my fitbit account removed the App from my phone removed the Blaze from my Bluetooth settings and restarted Blaze.
installed the App on my phone again reinstalled Blaze in my Bluetooth settings and made sure Blaze was showing as conntected on phone and Bluetooth settings were "ON" on the Blaze then I setup Blaze on my fitbit account again as a new device.
after 15 seconds or so it gave me a new code to confirm connection and started downloading the update 5 mins later, Blaze fixed!
wore my watch all day even though it was 2 hours behind and I still kept checking the time!!

Fixed me right up. I wish I found this article before calling support. However, the support call taker was very patient and helped me solve this issue right away. Fitbit you have earned yourself a repeat customer!
Thanks

This issue has literally plagued me with the blaze. I have to every single day and night, over and over try to remove the blaze from the app, forget the device from Bluetooth, turn off the Bluetooth, reset the watch and this doesn't do it. I have to do this over and over before it finally pairs again and tonight, this will be the third time I've had to do it because I've tried to sync three times today. It also, on its very own, erased almost 6,000 steps while I was showering two days ago. For no reason. On top of that, I had 115,000 steps and in three days of ADDING anywhere from 13-18,000 steps each day, knocked my steps down to 76,000. This watch is not for an athlete, whatsoever. And it is absolutely inaccurate, which is least of my trouble when I can't even remotely sync it with any kind of ease at all. I am so incredibly disappointed; I can't even explain.

Dear Andrew I appreciate your advice, I am having trouble with my Blaze since saturday night.. It died because battery was low and then I charged for like 2 hours and nothing happened, it dont show me the 2 blinking green lights as usual for the heart rate anymore and it dont respond or connects to my iphone. I charged all day yesterday as well thinking it needed more battery life and today and nothing has happened..
I fallowed all the steps to upgrade to the new version, but i cant becuase when i try to fallow the steps on the notification part it's needed to be paired and i told the bluetooh to forget this device and now i cant find it
:(! I need help!! i attached a picture so you or someone can advice me on how to fix it??
Should i call over the phone and talk to someone??
Thank you very much!!!

Mine is synching sometimes and not synching other times. It periodically vanishes from the Bluetooth setting on my phone - it's there sometimes, and connected, then later it will be gone. Sometimes it's there but not connected, and there's no option to connect. Later.... it's back, connected and synched. All my information seems to be synching and showing up on my dashboard eventually, but it's getting very annoying and is a little worrisome. Is there any fix for this? I have done the whole Bluetooth off/ restart phone/ restart watch process quite a few times and that's not making any difference that I can tell.

i think problem number one is - this issue is not solved. I had sync issues prior to the new app release, and needed to delete and re-download the app. All the gyrations with reseting the Blaze were worthless. The new app (1/9 on my phone) was updated, and guess what - it's back....
My Blaze starts synching, and the line goes about 1/2 way and stops. It has seems to get current steps, not old, and misses current battery, activity time, and sleep time entirely.

Worked again - had to delete the app and the old data. Then redownload, and relogin.
