My new (one month) fitfit Blaze won't stop scrolling through data. Since yesterday it's either scrolling through the data on my home (clock) page, (steps, hr, floors etc) ending with no notifications, all caught up OR it thinks I am trying to schedule a workout. It "all by itself" scrolls through Exercise-run-start-pause-end......over and over. It won't stop. I have tried resetting and finally just took it off with the hope the battery would run out.
I have put it into the charger this morning and it is repeating the process.
HELP!

Have you checked for something oily on the screen? Tanning lotion or fat grease really messes up the works since it is both conductive and capacitive, most other "oils" are water based so not so much.
Wipe the touchscreen gently with an absorbent tissue and alcohol - has control returned?
if not, please contact customer support for more options.

@inspiredfitness, Even damp fingers will prevent me from navagating the Blaze menus.
I have to agree with @wmchapman, and would also use a tissue and some alcohol to clean the screen. If this doesnt work then a restart will be needed. Hold in both the left and lower right buttons for 12 seconds.
Best AnswerNothing on the screen, no buttons stuck. After working with the live chat asistants and several resets we were able to get the fitbit to stop scrolling enough for me to get to the settings menu and do a hard shutdown. Now it's fine. Previously I couldn't scroll through any of the screens. At the exercise screen the Blaze would automatically start tracking a workout and would keep looping through those screens. Must have had 200 workouts logged yesterday. After 24 hours of craziness it seems to be back to normal now.
