So, I bought my Fitbit Blaze today and got home eagerly to set it up.
Yet upon setting it up, I cannot update the blaze because the charge is too low.
And, I've left it in the charger for a good hour or two and it still says the same thing as if it's not charging.
Should I leave it charging? Keep trying to update it?
I feel like I'm stuck in a loop here.

When you close the charger, do you get the battery indicator on the Blaze screen? That would be the sign that the device is actually charging (the screen will go blank shortly after that). If you're not getting the battery indicator, are you sure you have the Blaze correctly mounted in the charger? I know that sounds simplistic and obvious, but I've done that myself a couple of times, having mistakenly rotated the Blaze 180 degrees so that the contacts on the device do not connect with the contacts in the charger.

Your Fotbit is already attacked to your account, try an update, the app will either stay the update, or will tell you the battery is low. This is the only way to tell if the battery is charged.
A 45 minute charge should be plenty to get the update.

If you do, I recommend leaving it in the charging cable for about two hours to fully charge it, after this Restart your tracker and then follow the Setup Procedure. You can paired your tracker with a computer or mobile device.
