Can the blaze be mounted in a "belt" clip like the One?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have not seen any topics on whether or not the Blaze will offer a clip for attaching to your belt like the One.  There are times when I want to wear my regular watches but do not want to have my other tracker (surge/flex) on my other wrist.  This would be possible since it can be removed from the bands unlinke the Surge.  I have used a belt type holder for my flex, but I want to be able to track the floors climbed.  I guess I could just carry it in my pocket.  Maybe offer something like a pocket watch case as well to protect it.

Or I could just buy a One to use...

Thanks

This has been the main reason why I have hesitated so far to buy a tracker that needs to be worn like a watch *all* the time. Like others, I want to keep my wrist free to wear my regular watches and don't want to give up any functionality of the tracker including HR monitoring.

So I am using an old sock as my armband! Cut it from both sides to make a 6 inch long tube out of it. I had to find a sock that was thin and provided the right fit for my arm - not too tight and not too loose. I overlocked the edges so they don't unraval in the washing machine.

Happy to report it's working perfectly - the Blaze fits nicely under the band. Now my wrist is free for regular watches.

I love my Blaze but there is no way I can wear that thing seriously in a professional setting but I do need to track my steps especially when I'm at work. As the first few posters suggested, a belt clip would be awesome.

I found a perfect solution. I ordered a Lighter Belt Clip on Amazon. It fits perfectly and works great clipped on to your belt. Of course the HR can't read when its in the case, but just use your phone to see step count. You can also remove the clip and just keep the case and Blaze in your pocket. There are may colors and styles to choose from and the price is under $8.00. The link below is the one I'm using

Ive been carrying my Fitbit One in a clip on belt holder for a USB drive. There are many different things that will work, if we think outside the box.

I've been using a lighter belt clip I found on Amazon. Works great and the clip is removable so you can keep it in your pocket as well

Does anybody know if you could fix the Blaze to work with one of those twist-o-flex watch bands? We're wanting to get my dad something thats a watch plus has the HR monitoring but he's so **ahem** about his watch bands, he'll only wear the awful twisty/stretchy ones.

Hello @Cjb708,

The Blaze frame should accomodate a conventional watch band with the little spring loaded pins.  I may try getting a watch band and pins that are 22mm in thickness (ballparking using a ruler and cross referencing band sizes).  So if you can find the 'awful twisty/stretchy ones' (your words Smiley Wink) in that size, I speculate that it would work.

I hope this helps.

So far I'm only finding the the 16-22 bands in stores, found an 18-22 on ebay. Would I need to order a different faceplate with the easy changing pins to get it to work?

I used an extra charger and a belt clip to make a belt setup.  Just put it togeter so not sure yet if it affects accuracy.
