Charging issues

My Fitbit blaze shows empty battery icon. When I place it in the charging device the large battery charging icon does not appear. It continues to have the empty battery icon in upper left corner. However the Fitbit app on my iPhone says it is fully charged. Is it charged? Does it need to be charged? It syncs with the phone. Anyone else with this issue and how did you resolve it? Thank you.

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

I would like to know if the instructions provided by our friend worked? If you still having problems charging your Blaze, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there.

I turned the watch over and noticed it needed a good cleaning...I did that and it was able to charge. Thank you all. I will save this advice for future reference.
