Has anyone heard anything about different clock faces. I prefer a digital clock face over analog but don't think I've seen any digital clock faces on the Blaze yet. Might have just missed them. Also hoping for a lot more options than what the Charge has at the moment. 4 isn't that much.

@Rich_Laue Do you think now that the new watch faces are being added back to the initial 5℅ of the test users that we will see the update shortly?

My work provides me with a Samsung phone, and i have always been slightly jealous of my wife who has an iphone/iwatch combo. Somehow i completely missed the annoucment of the new Gear S3 watch. When that comes out, good-bye fitbit! The thing looks awsome!! You can use any standard watch band. it has 1000x more features i.e. gps, LTE, Spotify, 4gb song memory (so you do not need your phone), water proof, weather, sports scores, voice recognition, tons of watch faces, altimeter, golf gps, 4 day battery, wireless pay etc. And for you purests that say you are more into the fitness aspects, it has an SOS system that you can hit if you run into trouble while on your excursion that will notify whomever you set up that you need help. I have had wildlife/weather/health run ins where i have been conerned if they escalated, this would have been good to have as a backup. for workouts that are not cardio, it will count reps/squats/whatever.
here is a company on the ball for what consumers want!

On the ball for what *you* want perhaps.
I'm not sure why you'd want LTE in a watch, where do you put the SIM card? It won't give you 4 day battery life whilst using all of those features.
Not for what I want, but then there isn't one single device that does everything that I'd want (I'd be there if the fitbits supported external HRMs).

Richard, we are here to discuss the pros and cons of what we find/want. if you did not want features, stick to a Charge or simpler. Sorry i do not conform to your box of what i should want. I find it very disrespectful of how you attack everyone that has an opinion on the forum.
FYI: The SOS is designed to work WITHOUT your smart phone. GPS will show you maps of where you are going and how to get out, WITHOUT your smart phone.
FYI: Fitbit is older than 6 months??? it has actually been around for 9 years.

Hi Tennisgirl1, I got me a Samsung Gear Fit 2. I has been in the market for quite a while now. The part which I like the most about it is the interface, you can do almost everything on the watch itself.....and some function requires interface with the phone. The best part of running with this watch is that I don't have to bring my phone anymore, mp3 and GPS built-in. The display is just magnificent (curved AMOLED) and it cost more or less at par of a Blaze. I love this tracker...It was supposed to be my weekend running watch/tracker instead I have been waering it everyday for the past 3 weeks....my other 2 automatic watches are now resting in the drawer next to my Blaze. The only downside of this tracker, need to recharge it within 3 days or less (depends on the usage - max 3 days) and it does not have auto display tone adjust outdoor. There a lot of clock faces available and half of those are freeeeeeee hehehehehe. ooo one more thing I could read massages like whatsapp on the tracker and I could reply from the tracker using pre set/pre written masaage from the phone...words like : I am driving, OK, on the way, I'll call you back and I could even see JPG attachement in massages. Its a cool tracker, but then again it depends on individual personal preferences.

...ooh and I can find my phone with it (it triggers the phone to ring), the tracker's wakeup call (without audio) keeps on vibrating until I click "X" (very effective) and the charging the tracker is so much easier.....did I mentioned it has a lot of free clock face on the app store ? haha

Hi Everyone,
I've finally received notification to update my firmware, I did so...new clock faces are now installed on the blaze. A first there was an error message where the blaze is unable to to display the original clock face, I've switch between the other clock faces and finally it works. I am not sure if there are any bugs on other functions on the blaze after the update. Today is a big day, someone is coming to my office this afternoon to look at the blaze and there is high potential she might take it off my hands....keeping my fingers crossed.

The notification pops up in/on our Fitbit phone apps, there will be a red/pink bar mentioning firmware update being available for the blaze. Click on it and the download will start. Have a great weekend everyone 😊

I have foudn a way to get a lot of new clock faces... i bought a Samsung Gear S3. Nice to change to a pro-active company that adds what people actually want.
Palm, Compaq, Nokia, Black Berry... Fitbit. "What are all companies that had great name recognition but failed to listen to customers".

Have you looked at the Blaze yet.Fitbit added the Chronograph watch with the highly requested quick start stopwatch which stays on. A countdown timer Coaching, additional clock faces, notifications from more apps, up to 103 apps may be selected, the ability to disable notifications, quick view, msnage alarms, and change the heart rate setting from the wrist, accepting and rejecting phone calls, controlling music on the phone, are just a few of the suggestions requested that have been implemented.
Fitbit has never promised to implement every suggestion that is requested.
I'm wondering if the gear 3, currently $50 more than the ionic, yes I understand the ionic only has 750 watch faces to choose from but like the Gear 3 the choice is unlimited with the user able to design there own face, all of which was requested by the users
