I’ve noticed that when you’re in an elevator it doesn’t count floors. I’m going up 69 floors in an elevator. Will it count some floors withe the atmospheric pressure?

Those cunning people at fitbit thought about elevators!
It does detect the rise in elevation through changes in air pressure but it only registers floors if you are walking / running when you rise.

I do not think this is true, I work on the 8th Fl and do not walk up and down the stairs and end of work day my fitbit blaze may have up to 10 floors recorded. I do take the elevator 3 or 4 times during the work day down to 1 and then back up.
