In the Fitbit app on your phone, pull down to force a sync. If that doesn't work then force quit the app, and restart it.
I've seen weird syncing issues for over a year, in the extreme I'll go from say 5,302 steps down to 0 steps! Forcing a sync usually solves the problem, but sometimes I need to force quit the app and restart it.

Frustrating! Doesn't happen all the time. I've thought about monitoring the traffic between app and Fitbit server, as it seems like the Fitbit servers reject the connection and that causes the app to revert to earlier step count.

Welcome to the Community @Lisamac13 and @bbarrera thanks for stopping by and the tips provided. I would like to know if you have been manually logging activities like walk or running? If you have, I recommend deleting those activities since they might be causing the discrepancies you are seeing.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi there, I have not manuallay changed anything. When my fitbit blaze synced it changed that days data and the 3 day days prior.
