Data changes after syncing

Good morning , yesterday after I finished a run I notice my distance and step decreased by about 6000 steps and my active minutes increase to 1050 minutes my calories burned was almost 9000..... When I looked at my prior days these numbers were all the same expected for my step which it looks like I lost the 6000 for each day. I am very confused. The funny thing is when I look at my steps in my weekly challenge they are correct .

In the Fitbit app on your phone, pull down to force a sync. If that doesn't work then force quit the app, and restart it.

I've seen weird syncing issues for over a year, in the extreme I'll go from say 5,302 steps down to 0 steps! Forcing a sync usually solves the problem, but sometimes I need to force quit the app and restart it.

Frustrating! Doesn't happen all the time. I've thought about monitoring the traffic between app and Fitbit server, as it seems like the Fitbit servers reject the connection and that causes the app to revert to earlier step count.

Welcome to the Community @Lisamac13 and @bbarrera thanks for stopping by and the tips provided. Woman Very Happy I would like to know if you have been manually logging activities like walk or running? If you have, I recommend deleting those activities since they might be causing the discrepancies you are seeing.

Let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

Thanks for the information @Lisamac13. I would like to know if you keep having problems with your information? If you do, I recommend checking if your tracker's firmware is updated by following the instructions provided in the How do I update my tracker's firmware? post.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
