My friend and I both have the blaze. I have an android and she has an iphone. We walk/run side by side, same time, same distance. Why are our blazes not reading the same. Mine is consistently reading less mileage, longer run times and longer pace times.

Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit this thread. I appreciate all the reports of Blaze distance being inaccurate, our team is aware of this issue and any update will be posted on this thread. As a friendly reminder, remember that accuracy depends on many factors.
See you around! 🙂

@PhotoAngel my thought is that if his tracker is still setup to your husband's account. Therefore if he is taller his tracker will report a greater distance per step then yours will.

Ok, your suggestion sounds reasonable until.... I use the fitbit app AND the Samsung Health app on the SAME phone, and get a 2 minute per mile different speed reading. This means both apps are addressing the same GPS receiver, right? I note my Fitbit Ionic has it's own GPS, and recently it has been showing the much slower speed that Samsung Health does. To be honest, I wish the Fitbit phone app was the right one, but now I have serious concerns as to where the truth lies.
Can Fitbit tech address how my watch could suggest my speed is 15'56" and in the next 1/2 mile my phone shows 13'09"? I can't believe I sped up that much in a 1/2 mile walk...
