Have been using my Fitbit Blaze while riding my horse and am not seeing distance show up. On my watch I swipe over to exercise and then workout and then click play. I stop it at the end of my ride, sync it, but no distance. Distance is probably the most important for me and would like to see it. Any way for me to get that to show up/record?

I'm just being curious, distance would be more related to how far a distance your horse would travel, not necessarily you. I don't think I have an answer other than maybe try a different exercise closer to horseback riding (elliptical, treadmill).

Since I'm on her and the watch on me it should still be getting distance. And I start the workout as soon as we get going. I saw some things about editing the type of workout once it was done but that didn't give me distance either. It shows distance in the general breakdown of the day, but not associated with my workout.

Workout will not give you GPS, on your watch go to Exercise and anything that has the little wheel cog on bottom left click on it and make sure your GPS is on and next time you ride do a run/walk/hike with GPS on (you'll also need your phone with you). I don't think it will be 100% but might give you something.

@APR3TTYG1RL as mentioned by @SunsetRunner, if you would like to have your riding distance calculated with most accuracy, you will need to use the connected GPS feature on the Blaze. This feature is available with "run", "walk", "hike", "bike", and "golf". There is not an option for horseback riding. However, if you never do one of these activities (run or golf, for example) you could track your rides using one of those, and you would know that every time it said "golf", it meant horse back riding.
The "workout" option on the Fitbits that have multisport mode (such as your Blaze) is the one option that can be renamed after syncing. If you have not used the connected GPS feature, and you rename your activity to "run" "walk" or "hike" the distance field will populate. In this case it will estimate the distance based on steps times stride length. However, it will be YOUR stride length, and not the horse's, so it is unlikely to be accurate!
(You could, of course, enter the horse's stride, as yours -- go to Account --> Advanced settings --> stride length. Then it would give you a better picture of your distance if you don't want to ride with your phone... but it will then give you nonsense distances fir your walks!)
I hope this helps give you a better idea of what your Blaze can and cannot do.
