As of yesterday, my battery has completely drained after being fully charged. It dies within two hours.

Mine is doing the same thing. So annoying. I was able to charge it once every 4-5 days. Now I am letting it sit on the charger for hours each day. And in less than 12 hours its completely dead with the red flashing battery. It is not even giving me a notification that battery is low. I have been a FitBit customer for many years, and now with this if they don't fix it I refuse to buy another FitBit. This is pretty much useless if it isn't counting my steps or sleep. What is the point of having it?

Cleaning contacts did nothing. I can try turning off all the features but that makes the Blaze pretty useless. It's very strange that so many people are all having this issue and that it seems to happen overnight. Seriously, one day my battery was fine and the next day it wouldn't hold a charge. Usually you would see a gradual decline in battery performance, but this seems like someone flicked a switch and toasted the battery.

Fitbit is not interested in fixing this. They could have forced an old firmware on a bad one and see it heal if they wanted too. Instead they offer a discount lower than the upcoming black friday deal.
selling my 2 blazes and my hr and getting garmin vivofits. Fitbit shot themselves in the foot by not supporting their own product.

Unfortunately, mine is doing the same thing. I let it charge all night then I pulled it off the charger at exactly 6 am and by noon, I get the battery low email! Beyond frustrating and seemingly no resolution forthcoming. Thinking it may be time to move to another offering.

Mine has been fine up until now. The latest update obviously has an error in it which is causing the battery to run down far quicker. I have noticed that even with "quick view" turned off it still wakes up every time I move my wrist. Added to this the heart rate monitoring has stopped recording. The latest update is obviously flawed and needs to be fixed.

Mine is not on the latest update. It's still on 17.8.401.3 which came out in March-ish.

My Blaze got the update to the new version last night but unsurprisingly, it didn't fix it.

I am in the same **ahem**ed boat! This is the second round of Fitbit related problems. First the surge had to be replaced because o f the strap so many times it became a useless. Now the bald I have had for about a year loses half it charge over night.
It maybe time to jump off this hole punched boat to Apple.
oh and I bought mine in mid-August of last year.

I just got my Fitbit Blaze last month after my Alta battery life was doing the same thing. Now my Blaze is doing the exact same thing. Hopefully I can get my money back because it sounds like they aren't too worried about it being compatible with the newest phones (I have a Pixel 2 XL) and this trying to sync and keep it charged is exhausting. I am sorry everyone is having issues. I hope they are able to offer you more than 25% off a new one. That isn't too much of a reason to stay with them knowing Black Friday sales will have something possibly better than that.

I am having the same issues with my Blaze. I reported the issue with my first Blaze in June which I had about 1 year. Fitbit sent me another Blaze. The second Blaze worked great until October. Previously I could get 5 days on a charge. That shrunk to 3-4 days...then every other day. I charge it daily now. My friend’s Blaze is experiencing the same battery issue. I have been a Fitbit supporter over 4 years but I do not plan to spend $300 on the Ionic to see if it develops the same issues. Santa is bringing an Apple Watch.

Mine is exactly the same since the update. It's disgraceful that Fitbit is advising us all to clean the contacts etc. although it's a bit strange that all of our Blazes have lost 5 days of charge all at the same time. 'Customer service' is it called?

My thoughts exactly! I ended up returning mine and went for a different brand. I was tired of the terrible products and not so great customer service.

I'm frustrated, too. Mine is hard to charge, won't hold the charge, shows the wrong time, shuts off unexpectedly. Help! I've only had this 1.5 yrs. Has anybody had success with customer service or a successful fix?

I have had my Fitbit Blaze for about one year and a half years. I purchased it on Amazon,jp.co. in Japan (July 22, 1916). Fitbit couldn't exchange my watch because the seller was not a participating partner. Since the Fitbit Blaze was older than one year, the seller apologized saying it was past the warranty. My watch would last for two or three days after charging with regular use.
A typical use for me is a thirty-minute workout Monday to Friday. I also like to do a six-kilometer meter walk ( 2 hours) two-three days a week. I also monitor my heart 24/7 and my sleep. I like the watch, and it has become part of my lifestyle, and I don't want an Apple watch.
April 18th The Fitbit blaze is still holding its charge. I don't know if this makes a difference and I haven't put it
Solution: I was sure it was the firmware that caused this problem. But I accidentally shut down my watch placed it in the cradle connected to an a/c nugget and allowed it to charge for 2 hours. And behold it has been holding its charge with no problem for four days. It can hold for the fifth day, but you run the risk of no charge in the morning or early afternoon.
Conclusion: Shut down whenever you want to charge your Fitbit Blaze. I don't know if this will be detrimental to the longevity of the watch ( 2 years), but I have had no issues, and it beats buying a new one.
UPDATE:
It is April 18th, 2018 and the Fitbit Blaze is still holding its charge for four days even up to five days. The only other thing that I have done was change the face clock *black background, red time, white day, month, date, and heart rate." I have not tried the other clock faces to see if that was the problem.

I give the Blaze a one star...just because sometimes it does work. Otherwise it's a big ZERO. Thanks for taking the time and energy to reply to my frustrations. Very appreciated!
I've had mine for about a year and a half also. I bought on eBay so I am also at a loss, I'm sure with replacement by customer service. However, I haven't called them. I should but spending a half hour or hour on the phone is precious time that I hate to waste but I must!
I've tried everything including what you mentioned. I'm still having problems. I wish I'd gone to a blog before I bought it to give me a REAL life perspective more than just hype. The things it does are far too many to mention in a post but as I use mine the same way you do, I'm close to just letting it all go in lieu of an old fashion pedometer because that's the most important function to me. Live and learn.

I have had my Fitbit Blaze less than a week. I am not happy they are still selling these with this issue. I have had to charge mine every two days. I fully charged it last night, now showing medium 16 hours later. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

They got me to do tests and then sent an email offering a 25% discount as if that was a perfectly fine resolution! As if I will be spending another dollar on Fitbit.
