Fitbit Update 3/30:

Good news! This issue should now be fixed. You can re-add your exercises in the order/availability that you want, sync your tracker, and you should be good to go!

Fitbit Update 3/29: Hey everyone!

A few users have pointed out that they're seeing their exercise shortcuts list is being emptied on-device, meaning that Blaze devices that have historically been equipped with onboard exercise shortcuts now read "No Exercises." You will also see a message on your device about having no exercise shortcuts, with instructions to visit their settings to populate the list.

Our team is aware of the issue, and are working on a fix. For now, a good workaround would be to:

  • Re-add the shortcuts in your settings. Web settings on a desktop/laptop seem to be working best for this.
  • Sync your device!

We've also seen a few instances where re-pairing the tracker to your account has alleviated the issue (using these instructions). If you do go this route, please be sure to sync before doing so!

This should wrap it up! Be sure to let us know if you have any questions.

I have a Lumia 950xl and just received my Blaze. I can't get rid of the "no exercises" message on the Blaze device, and I also can't change the exercise shortcuts in the Windows Phone app, as soon as I leave the list of exercises it's reset to it's original list.

I've tried to reset the blaze and then sync again, without luck.

@JohanLindfors I have found the Windows phone app to be less than capable at saving changes to settings etc. Your best bet is to make such changes to your exercise list on the web, via the dashboard, and then sync the changes to your Blaze via the app.

Thanks, that helped with getting my list of exercises correctly in the app, but they still won't sync to the Blaze device. Totally understand that Windows Phone is a small platform to support, but this is pretty much a deal breaker for me, if I can't use the Blaze device to track exercises, I loose a major functionality...

@JohanLindfors they should eventually, if you sync back the app. It worked on mine

I'm not sure why, as I've just tried it on my Blaze. Went into Settings on the website, added the new exercise, clicked Save, just at the top of the list of exercises, opened the app on my phone, sync'd to my Blaze and the new exercise was on my Blaze.

The apps shortcuts are working now (or at least they are the same as I specified in the web site). But I've synced the blaze device approximately 50 times during the day, and there's still no exercises available.

Have anyone managed to get a Blaze working appropriately with a Lumia 950XL?

I've had several FitBit devices, and currently the Blaze is the worst... I guess I have to go back to my Band 2...

I removed the blaze device from my Lumia and then readded it again, that seemed to have worked since I now have access to exercise shortcuts on the Blaze as well.

Now I have to start exercising, again 🙂

My blaze has removed all of the default exercises when I amended the choice of exercises on the dashboard

I can edit them and sync but it just removes them no matter how many and in which order I add them

Is this a software error?

Thanks for posting this, Gemma!  The exact same thing happened to my watch today too.  I tried to re-add the exercises, which were (as you noted...) promptly removed from my app after syncing, and never appeared back on my watch.  I then tried to first restart the watch followed by re-adding the exercises - no luck.  And finally, I restarted my watch, reinstalled the app on my iPhone, re-added the exercises... again the exercises will not appear on the watch.

Fitbit support... please help! 🙂

I fixed it by going to the website and save my workout excircises through my account on the web then I synced my blaze to my iPhone
It worked

I don't know what you mean, i'm logged in and have 'created' a few exercises but they're still not showing up on my fitbit.

Found I needed to add exercises back on the web, not my iphone. This workaround worked for me; exercise shortcuts are back on my blaze.

Nevermind, the next time the Blaze sync'd with my phone, the shortcuts were gone again.
