Fitbit Update 3/30:

Good news! This issue should now be fixed. You can re-add your exercises in the order/availability that you want, sync your tracker, and you should be good to go!

Thanks everyone for reporting this. Robot Happy

Fitbit Update 3/29: Hey everyone!

A few users have pointed out that they're seeing their exercise shortcuts list is being emptied on-device, meaning that Blaze devices that have historically been equipped with onboard exercise shortcuts now read "No Exercises." You will also see a message on your device about having no exercise shortcuts, with instructions to visit their settings to populate the list.

Our team is aware of the issue, and are working on a fix. For now, a good workaround would be to:

  • Re-add the shortcuts in your settings. Web settings on a desktop/laptop seem to be working best for this.
  • Sync your device!

We've also seen a few instances where re-pairing the tracker to your account has alleviated the issue (using these instructions). If you do go this route, please be sure to sync before doing so!

This should wrap it up! Be sure to let us know if you have any questions.

I am having the same problem! My fiance has a blaze too and his exercise tracker is gone too. I tried manually adding exercise shortcuts on the app and on the website, syncing, and still nothing. If I add shortcuts through the app, I can click to Main Goal, Heart Rate etc and fiddle with the settings, and go back to Exercise Shortcuts and they will still be there, but as soon as I sync they are gone.

Clearly this is a bug. Exercise tracking is the MAIN reason I got the Blaze and it's frustrating that it is impossible to record a workout in real time.

Forgot to add that the message that appears on the Blaze when you click Exercises is "No Exercises. Set up exercise shortcuts using FitBit website or app."

Adding and syncing from website did not work for me. (neither did adding from app).

This problem started for me on Tuesday. It worked just fine on Monday then tried to use the exercise function. I hope this gets fit ASAP because I decided to get the Blaze because there was so much useful detailed information provided. Very frustrating

Hi everyone,

I had the same problem, and i kept playing around with it: syncing and re-setting the exercise shortcuts.

I'm not sure if it's permanent but I found that if you do this, than you get all the exercise options back:

1. Go to the app and click Blaze.  Scroll down to the bottom until it says in red letters 'Remove this Blaze'

2. Remove the Blaze (but remember to syn before, because otherwise unsynced data will be lost)

3. Press the home button on iPhone (or whatever your device is), and reopen app

4. Press 'add device'. (I think that's what it says)

5. Reset up your blaze, (pairing it ect.)

6. Open your Blaze and the exercise icon, and there should be the options again

Just telling you (again) that i'm still not sure that this method is permanent because it could be a bug!

Well, there's my advice! Thanks

Sorry guys!

Forgot to add that if you sync the fitbit before hand, than you won't loss any data recorded over the previous days, because i've had mine for 7 days and all the data is still there just as before.

Sorry about that

😉

@Layls123Thanks so much! I was prepared to do a morning workout and found my shortcuts missing. Tried adding them back through the app with no luck, then I came here and found your solution. You saved me lots of frustration! Man Very Happy

The box said "Requires Windows 7 or better", so I installed Linux!

So frustrated - please help! Fitbit blaze "No Exercises" notification is on the exercise home screen. As see this is a common problem but no real fixes. I've tried resetting and going to the web- nothing is fixing it. 😞

Yeah, this needs to be fixed. I started my run this morning and needed to start the exercise on my phone all and keep it open at all times to be aware of my pace and distance, rendering the Blaze useless. What's the point of the Blaze if not to keep that information readily available???

I see all Blaze owners have the same issue. Someone else posted that if you disconnect blaze from app on iPhone then reconnect it that works. Sync it first. That did work for me. I did not have to go to web. I too was so incredibly frustrated I was glad to find these posts to see everyone has same issue.
