Hey there,
Today was my first full day rocking my Blaze. I went to an outdoor festival and had some solid step count, however, when I got home and checked my step count I noticed that the blaze tracked about 1/4 the steps I actually took. My iPhone health app logged about 10K and my Fitbit did about a 1/4 of that (2500). Also I noticed it did an auto workout and thought I had rode my bike. I think this is due to my sons stroller I was pushing. Any suggestions on how to calibrate? If I go for a run and use the GPS- will that help? Thanks!

Best AnswerI've done multiple tests and counted hundred of steps and have only had my device be off by about 4 for every 200. That was with me intentionally doing stop and go movements and doing different walking motions and speeds to throw it off and it still did a great job. I've not had to bend my arms in any odd way either. I just walked normally.
I have been encountering the same problem with the Blaze not counting my steps. I actually gave my Charge HR to my neighbor and after walking the same distance together, my count was off, (243 steps.) I have been rebooting at least 4 times during the day and that seems to get it to start the count back up. Sorry to say I am sending this back.

So, I walked around the earth some 90 times and I only burned 53 calories.
This was what I showed on my watch whereas the app looked to show realistic information. This was just a short test I did on a walk from my office to my car. It was actually only about 700 steps or so but somehow registered as almost 4.3 billion steps. I did some figuring and yes...it appears that is about how many steps it would take to circumnavigate the globe at the Equator some 90 times.

@brianwsargent You must be exhuasted!
On a serious note, what operating system do you sync with? I recall seeing a similar discrepancy recently.
