I started updating my Fitbit blaze at 9am today. It is now almost 11.45 pm and it is still trying to update! The green bar goes all the way up as if it has finished but then the screen flashes black and it's back down to half way. The battery died at work and when I charged it, it was still stuck ( had a full charge this morning when I started the update. the update drained my battery). What do I do now?

A warm welcome to the Community @Sueloz39 and thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.
First, I recommend verifying if your Fitbit app is updated. After checking this, please restart your Blaze, take a look at the How do I update my tracker's firmware? post and follow the instructions provided there.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the information @Sueloz39. Do you have access to another compatible device where you can try this procedure? If you do, I recommend following the instructions provided in my previous post with that other device.
Hope to hear from you soon.

When you say that it is not discoverable are you saying the app can not find the blaze?
I noticed the top picture above is almost done and the bottom looks like it has restarted.
Or you saying that the update process keeps restarting, is this gap pining without restating the process through the app?
Sorry for so many questions, I'm hoping to find out exactly what you are experiancing. This will help also @AlejandraFitbit out.
Usually restarting the firmware just continues the update where it left off. As long as the line grows longer with each try I know the update will be successful, eventually.

You probably will need to turn the phones Bluetooth off for an app on another device to communicate with the Blaze.
That is weird that it keeps cycling, I as afraid that was what the pictures where showing.
You have restarted the Blaring holding in both the left and lower right buttons.
