FLASHING SCREEN PROBLEM SOLVED

Hi Folks!

I have some very good news concerning THE EVER FLASHING SCREEN on my CHARGE 2 device.

I guess I really have the solution to stop this annoying behaviour.

It is simple but it but it works.

What happened is that I left my CHARGE 2 at home while on vacation.

When i came home the thing was totally dead, so I connected it to the proprietary charger.

But it showed no sign of life on the display after an hour or so. So I disconnected it pressed the button and nothing happened at first.

Tried to charge it again etc and yes, suddenly the display showed the charge level of the battery, which was at the bottom low.

After charging if further to the max the thing worked AND SHOWED NO FLASHING SCREEN whatsoever!

I was schocked and delighted.

Until this moment nothing worked to resolve the fault.

Oh, I forgot to mention that when I mean totally dead, I mean that even the time and date settings were wrong. Which meant that the battery was REALLY TOTALLY EXHAUSTED.

So I had to connect and synchronise with my smartphone.

Now EVERYTHING WORKS just fine!

A happy user.

I cannot stop the fit bit blaze from flashing. There are no buttons on the back of my charger either. Please tell me how to fix this.

Thank you, Mary

My fit bit screen started flashing after I charged it a couple of weeks ago.  I have allowed it to run down several times hoping for a fix after recharging. It hasn't repaired itself. What can I do to fit this ?

==UNFORTUNATELY==

My Fitbit 2 returned flashing again pretty soon after I wrote the above message.

Now I tend to think this was intendently created this way by the softwaredesigner.

I guess it somehow represents your heartbeat pace (hopefully in the correct rhythm.

Anyway wishing happy monitoring with the device,

Thank you! This happened yesterday after my arm got wet from setting the sprinklers. I thought it was moisture. Finally found these replies. It worked!!

Thank you for your instructions! You stopped me from throwing my fitbit in the garbage. I followed them exact and it stopped blinking, then started charging.  And I didn't lose any data. I have been having this problem for a week. I was ready to just buy a new one. Thanks again!
