Exactly the same thing happened to me twice 2/2. Really annoyed and would like to know how to fix the issue. Even if the connection to phone breaks for sometime or the GPS signals go away. The application should try to restablish connection and start tracking again once the connection is restablished.

As @MikeF requested, is the GPS dropout between the phone and the Blaze? Or is it the phones GPS losing a lock on the satellite.
Would someone be able to post a screenshot of their map?
When it loses connection is there an error message?
