High frequency sound from headphones and car speakers

Hi. I recently got the fitbit blaze.

It is always connected via bluetooth to my iphone. However, at times when I get calls onto my phone, a really loud high frequency sound/interference comes from the ear piece of the phone/head phones. This does not always happen. Sometimes, I suddenly start hearing this high frequency sound in the middle of the call. This also happens when I get into my car and when I get a phone call (my phone connects to the car bluetooth). It is quite annoying and the person on the other end of the call can also hear this sound. Funny thing is that even after I turn off the bluetooth of my phone, it still causes this sound and I have felt that the sound reduces when I keep my phone away from the Fitbit. I am quite certain that this issue is because of my fitbit because it has cropped up ever since I got my fitbit.

Has anyone else faced this issue?

Hey there @dheerajnair89. Welcome to the Community! 🙂

This certainly sounds strange. What I would recommend as of right would be that when you're on a call and you have your tracker with you and you hear this noise, turn off your tracker by going to the settings which is the latest screen on your tracker and choose the option to turn it off. Once you do this, see if the noise goes away to confirm it's the tracker causing this high frequency noise.

Let me know how the experiment goes!

Okay I tested it. The sounds kept coming from the car speakers even after I turned off the fitbit. Hence I am foreced to believe that it has nothing to do with my fitbit and it is probably that my iphone is acting up and emitting some kind of interference. Cheers!

Thanks for testing @dheerajnair89 and sharing it with us. That's very very strange but now at least we know it's not your Fitbit. Hope you can find the source.

Anything else, let us know!
