Hi! I posted before about the calorie count for my hot yoga classes... and the answer was that it goes off my heart rate, to use the yoga setting... ok, no offense, but I don't know that you've ever done HOT yoga... (it takes a special kind of crazy!! Lol) The room you practice in is usually between 95-105 degrees w about 40% humidity... I sweat more in 15 mins of class than I do doing anything else! So, you can imagine my surprise when I see my calorie count as 185 after an hour class!
Also, while I have u, how can I tell if my step count is accurate? I have been running like a FOOL all day long, and barely have 5,000 steps?! (Hot yoga, ran errands and cleaned 2 houses... how is his possible?!)
HELP!!!

It's great to see you around @JudyMPowers. Regarding your calories count, are you manually logging this activity? If you aren't, I recommend manually logging this exercise by doing the following from a computer:
1. Go to the Activities page by clicking Log at the top of your dashboard, then click Activities.
2. Under Log Activities, click a common activity or search for your activity in the search box.
3. Select your activity from the search results. If the activity is not in our system, you have the option to create your own activity by clicking the Create custom activity text that will appear below the search field.
4. Enter the duration, distance (if applicable), and start time of your activity. You have the option to manually enter the number of calories burned here if you'd like to.
5. Click Log Activity. Your activity will now be visible and editable in the Logged Activities area.
There you will be have the option to enter your calories if you want. Now about the steps, I recommend getting in touch directly with our support team, since they have the proper tools to see the information that your tracker is recording.
Catch you later.

@JudyMPowersWelcome.... Use this calculator to work out your Bikram Yoga calories.
Many of use the Custom manual activitiies, and avoid them if we are in Challenges etc because any steps/distance don't go towards your steps/distance/lifetime data.
I had to use them in rehab when I was doing water walking.

There are many references to Bikram in the internet. Some of course decrying the high calories burn. But you are fully aware of that because you are a Bikram practitioner.
😊 Getting close to Bikram temps, it will be 100oF (38oC) in Melbourne tomorrow and above 95oF (35oC) in all Australian Capital cities.
