Hours with 250+ Steps on Blaze but not on App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have my tracker say that I got 250+ steps (and even congratulate me for getting all hours in my day) but my app on my phone and computer don't agree.

Why is that?

It's great to see you around @tlenhart06. I am guessing that you are talking about the reminders to move feature. The reminders to move feature nudges you to walk at least 250 steps per hour. If you don't walk these steps that dot that you will be able to see won't be full.

I recommend checking this information by doing the following from a computer:

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to Blaze

3. Go to Reminders to Move

4. Set your information

5. Save

6. Sync

Now, if this isn't the issue you have, please feel free to provide me with a screenshot of what you are seeing.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Hallo

I have the same issue. The tracker shows that I have 12 hours of 12 hours  (meaning goal met/all dots green), but the app after sync is showing only 11 of 12. This has happened quite often.

Same issue here. Just started today. I have restarted my Blaze, the App, my iPhone, removed and re-added the Blaze. Nothing has worked.

We've been discussing this topic under Hourly Tracker further down the page. You are not alone! It seems some of us are suffering and others aren't. I don't know if anyone at Fitbit is taking notice, I hope so.

At least you know in your own head that you've done the steps.

Also having the issue. While not a huge deal, it's still nice to see in the weekly summary that you made 12 of 12 hours with the steps. Helps with motivation for some.

I have the same issue.

As has been stated, this is a problem for some users some of the time. For other uses it is all the time, and some users seem to have no problem with blend. In any case the developers are looking into this.

Any solutions?

I  have active hours set 8AM to 6PM. Started 'uncounting' 2PM hour about 4 days ago on the app even when 10/10 on the tracker.   Have reset, uninstalled and reinstalled app. No effect.

Apparently this problem is not something you can fix, and something the Fitbit developers have not been able to pin down yet.

I haven't had this issue until a couple days ago.  I'm not sure why this would have started all of a sudden, but has been super frustrating for sure.  I haven't been able to tell whether it is certain hours that don't get tracked, or if it just chooses to not count things whenever it feels like it.

First post on problem was December. My issue started early this week.  Last software update 9 March but I didn't immediately install. Checked and more than 300 steps in 'uncounted' 2PM hour so not an issue of sync off a minute or so.    My first posting and agree developer/moderator seems quiet on this issue.

I am having the same issue with the steps not matching the app.  It shows 9/9 on Blaze. 8/9 on app. 🤔

I am having the same issue.  It does it at noon for me, it happens about 3-4 times a week.  Blaze shows I did 250 all the hours but iPhone app will show I missed it at noon.

A year later....to the day and still no solution??? For the past weekish my tracker shows my step goals reached, but the app show 0 hours reached. Plus, now, it no longer registers my heart rate, on the fit bit, or in the app. The green lights are on, my watchband is the same, I tried switching to "on" under the heart rate setting, but that just drained the battery in around 6-8 hours.

My fitbit was working great....what happened?

My Blaze wristband is registering the 250 steps I do each hour, but my App on my Samsung phone is still reading 0 of 12, when I know I have done at least 4 of 12 already.

I have tried syncing and it doesn't seem to make any difference...
