Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums. @Forgetful, it's great to see you here. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

About the red dot appearing on the notifications tab, our team is still work on this situation to bring a solution for each of you. While there isn't a time frame when this will be resolved, your feedback will be passed to our team, and I'll update you as soon as I have more details from them.

@SunsetRunner, about your other inquiry, do you mean that the text notifications aren't working? If so, please provide me with your phone's model and OS version. Also, I'd recommend to hold the top right button for a couple seconds to make sure the notifications are set to "On", and try restarting your Blaze.

Let me know if you have another question.

The text notifications are not showing on my Charge 2. I see sender name come up but before, the message would scroll in my display.Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S9.

I get the notification on my blaze But the notifications on my IPhone 7 in
my fit bit app are the problem. I am supposed to touch the 3 dots on the
left and choose to delete but when I touch the dots nothing happens, it
like that whole page is frozen and I have some 30 plus notifications dating
back to March.
So frustrating to not have a fix. In report Ed this many many months ago.

I fixed my own issue but I am sure it will not work for everyone.  I just deleted my old account and created a new one.  I didn't have anything in my history I needed. Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S9.

Hi @SKkid. It's great to see you here. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

As mentioned before, currently there isn't an option to manually delete those messages. They'll delete automatically after 30 days or when you receive new messages. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes you, and our team is also working to improve the Fitbit app based on the feedback posted in the Community.

If you have another question, let me know.

Hi @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for joining this thread and I'm sorry that your messages aren't deleting. As mentioned above, currently there isn't an option to manually those messages. I appreciate your feedback and be sure that our team will keep working to improve the functionality of the Fitbit app so it can meet your needs. I'd recommend to check this Feature Suggestion and add your vote. The more votes the better the chance of getting the attention of the developers.

See you around!

This solution did NOT work for me.  I cannot swipe right nor do I see a delete all at the bottom of notifications. There are a ton of them.

Irishlassie7- I’ve returned a Fitbit Versa light because it wouldn’t delete one message and I couldn’t clear it. Returned it for a new one and now it’s held in to two messages that it won’t delete. So frustrating! Have you figured out how ri do it??

No and I have given up on Fitbit cause they have said they have been trying
to fix it for over a year. Not sure why they can’t fix it.

As far as deleting  notifications. I too have given up on Fitbit. I have a flex that is 3 years old. It only holds a charge for 3 days now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled at least 4 times.

Once its done, I'm done with Fitbit. Seeing from the thread that some of the newer models are having issues too does not convince me to purchase again. I'll do a more thorough job researching my next product for tracking and make a decision. Of course thats no guarantee as we live in a disposable society.

Thanks Fitbit for trying to fix the issue. (Truly no sarcasm intended here)

No. Thats why once this device has stopped working I'll research other devices. No more Fitbit products for me.

Swiping right to delete notifications whether I'm in the actual notification or not doesn't work for me. Swiping all the way to the bottom brings up no menu so there's no delete all choice. I sure would like to know how to get rid of all these old notifications that have been there forever

I have messages over a year old still show up.  I have a friend that show up on the message list even though I don't have any message with this friend.  How do I delete this friend from the message list?  I logged out of app and logged back in.  no help.  thanks.

It appears that customer service is not Fitbit priority.

No that is the biggest problem with Fit Bit wearables next time I will get an Apple Watch cause you can always get a fix for the apps problem, they seem not able to fix things at all.
