I am thinking about getting the Blaze, but having reservations based on my experience with my Charge HR. How is the quality and do you see a high number of replacements in the first year?

Hi, @Tiff1107! I can speak for myself and say I have been very happy with my Blaze. It's really taken a beating from me. I take it rock climbing and boxing and all other kinds of activities and have only managed to tear a band once, which seems like a minor miracle. Since the bands are replaceable, it's no big deal. I had a minor software issue at one point which support was able to get taken care of quickly. I've been really happy with it. I see much fewer complaints on the forum about them. Also, the band design is completely different from the Charge, so the bubbling issue that seems to come up in the Charge doesn't exist in the Blaze.
Do you have specific areas you have reservations about or just in general?

I agree with MakMak. One of the things I appreciate about the Blaze is the replaceable bands. I have a nice (fancier) brown leather one that I use for work and more formal events. Then I have the all black silicon Special Edition one for weekends and more athletic activities. If a band rips, I can just replace the band.
The device itself seems relatively solid and while I haven't gone rock climbing or boxing, I do run and bicycle a lot. So far, no issues with my Blaze whatsoever. My only gripe would be that it's not water proof to 10ATM, but it seems to do just fine when splashed or accidently run under the tap.

I've had my Blaze for months and like it. I did get a different 3rd party band as I had issues with the original one.

Got my Blaze for christmas and couldn't be more happy with it. Love the changeable bands/straps, and the color screen is gorgeous. A very cool device indeed!
