I need setup assistance

A new Blaze, plugged in to charger all day. Numerous attempts to setup via computer fail. Even logins usually require many attempts using Google option, which pops up a Welcome while Connect claims Incorrect Username and Password. Eventually (6+ tries last time) it lets me in and upon checking for updates I get an Insert Dongle prompt. However, Blaze suposedly only needs to be in it's cradle and connected to a USB3. And what is additionally annoying is the Dongle prompt screen has no back button so you have to close out the connection and again go thru multiple attempts to Login.  It is neither fast nor easy.  BlueTooth is enabled on the laptop with Win10 and shows Blaze as connected. I have gotten to the dashboard during on one attempt but there is no way to update from there... but at least there seems to be some communication taking place.  Going to give it another day and then I'll put a bullit in it and post it in youtube to give some satisfaction to all the other would be Fitbit'ers who have felt the same way.

Hi there @hammerinhand. Good to have you in the Community! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having a hard time setting up your tracker with your computer.

Make sure that if you'd like to use the built in bluetooth on your computer, you're doing the process from the Fitbit aplication for Win10. To make sure you have it, you can download it from here. Make sure that the "Windows 10" option is enabled and once it has downloaded, log in to your Fitbit account with your same email address and password. Once you're there, go to the account section, select the "Set up a device" option and follow the prompts until it's all ready.

If you're having problems with this, I can also recommend using a supported mobile device which most of the time is easier that doing it on the computer.

Hope this helps and if you need anything else, don't hesitate to tag me and I'll be happy to help! 😄
