Incorrect floor count

My Fitbit is counting way too many floors. I just noticed it today. We drove about 20 minutes on the highway and then walked for 40 minutes on a track at the gym. A flat track. It now shows me at 39 floors!

Good to see you in the Community Forums @CherylD2! 🙂

It can be that the difference in the elevation while you were on the highway made your tracker to recognize that as floors climbed. Did you notice if there's any activity record for the time you were driving? If so, you can try to delete it and this should take away the floors climbed or if you notice steps being recorded for the time you were driving, you can log a driving activity from the activities list for the time frame you were in the car to get rid of this.

Let me know if this gets to happen again or you need more help!
