Just moved from at Alta which had it. It was great but now i see the blaze doesnt have it.

It's coming in September along with new Clow faces. Thanks fitbit for giving us a date and adding clockfaces and third party notifications. Glad I stayed with fitbit. Really excited about the new features:)

Blaze needs this!  Can't believe this is one of the high end products and it doesn't have reminder to move alerts.  Please add asap!

Still waiting for reminder to move to be added.  Months and months now and still no update or solution for this issue.  After 2 years of using multiple Fitbit products I'm now considering switching to other brands that will meet my needs.

Best Answer

Well, there's plenty of choice out there. I hope you find something that works out better for you.

I wish this option would hurry up. You would think the higher end items would get the newest features first.

Hey everyone! 😄 Good to see you all around!

The "Remiders to move" feature is already been worked on and hopefully we'll see it implemented soon. Keep an eye on your Blaze updates for when it's ready.

Any other thing you may need, let me know. I'll be happy to help! 😄

I bought a Blaze from an Alta with assumption it had these! It doesn't state nor clearly define that Blaze does not get move reminders. When I clicked on compare trackers while shopping between Alta and Blaze, the only thing Blaze didn't have was an on-board GPS. I'm very disappointed Fitbit doesn't make it more obvious. As others have said, for such a high cost tracker I would have thought this would be obvious.

I'm very disappointed it's not currently been implemented and there is no specific date at least given.

Definitely looking forward to an update to Blaze to implement reminder to move.

Issue firmware update already which captures reminder to move and additional clock faces. This is long overdue! Tired of waiting. Might switch to other brands if this doesn't get a fix soon. Patience running out!

I'm very disappointed. My app had another update today but still no update for the blaze itself. A lower end model shouldn't have a beneficial feature over a better model. Fitbit has been telling us since Feb it will be released soon. I can honestly say I'm that much closer to switching vendors. Very disappointed.

Down vote until we see an actual date instead of "keep an eye out for it".

Might as well not even answer if such generalized language is going to be used.

Looking at the boards I have seen this same response "the reminder to move alert is being worked on for the Blaze" for the last 6 months and still have not seen any update or even a timeline.

When can we expect this feature for the Blaze?

Best Answer
You won't get an answer. Fitbit only announce new functionality at the time of release.

Hi everyone! Good to see you here!

I'm sorry if my previous statement was vague or misleading but as @MikeF says, we don't want to create any false expectation on this. As I said before, reminders to move for the Blaze is being worked on and it takes a while for feature requests to be considered, developed and tested, so once it's all ready to come out, we will be happy to announce it.

Reminders to move was announced before the official sales launch for Blaze so many ppl bought the Blaze expecting this to be implemented shortly after launch (max 2) months. So sorry this is not a case of a specific feature request to be considered, developed and tested. Let's just get the facts straight. I really don't understand why you want to alienate your customers this way. This is not good for reputation and makes zero sense. You need to commit to a deadline. I'm so frustrated - you take your customers for granted!

I have a jawbone up2 band which I have to wear in tandum as the jawbone up has a reminder to move vibration so I have the blaze on my right hand and up2 on my left, I thought I would be able to get rid of the up2 after purchasing blaze but unfortunately I hold onto the up2 for reminder to move and plus I like the sleep information better than fitbits

Best Answer

I guess people will forgive fitbit when they miss a deadline, just like nobody batted an eye when Microsoft releases an operating 18 months late.

I too am anxious to get more clock faces. I also would like to see several of the known issues fixed with one update, rather than a half baked firmware update once a month. Ive seen complaints that one competitor does this.

Best Answer

Competitor? Just look at Fitbit's last firmware update. What about incorrect badges? I've been getting big web page banners all week on this website saying they screwed up and are awarding badges

Its software, it always has bugs. The only thing half baked is your argument about one update to fix all problems.

First the badges are not being awarded because of any tracker firmware you know a is on the server and have affected every tracker.
