Issues with setup, syncing and notifications

Hi,

 

I recently  got a Blaze from my friend who was using it but got upgraded to Apple watch. Now i created a new account and downloaded the software. My phone is able to see the blaze and i even get the 4 number code. But my phone is not able to add the device.

 

I am using Oneplus 2 and am from india.

 

Any help is much appreciated.

Ok.. so i restarted the blaze and the phone.. And now am able to see the blaze in my app.

 

But the syncing up of from my phone to blaze is not happening. and also even though i have set up all notifications, i am not able to get any notification in my blaze.

 

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself, I am glad to hear that your setup issue has been resolved. If you keep having syncing issues, I recommend taking a look at the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the instructions provided there. About the notifications, follow the steps provided in the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post.

I restarted my phone and uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. 

 

Now my app is able to sync up with my steps, calories and other activities.

 

But when i change my faceclock in the app,even though its showing as synced up, the clock face is not getting changed in the fitbit.

 

Any solutions to it?

I am glad to hear that your Blaze is now syncing, about the clock face, have you tried with another clock face? If you haven't, I recommend changing the clock face you selected by doing the following from your Fitbit app:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Blaze > Clock Face (Clock Display on Android). 
  3. Sync your Blaze to see the change.

 

Also, you can try to restart your device.
