Hello @MelB03 welcome to the Fitbit Community! I can not provide you an estimated time frame for the LG V10 to be added to the list. Please keep an eye on it for any update. Please note that some devices are not in the list of compatible devices but that does not mean are not compatible. Is just that we cannot guarantee that all the feature will work or it wont present any issue in the future as it has not being fully tested. Nowadays high end devices are built with the same core specification, so is hard to find a device which is not compatible and is rare to find a device which wont be compatible at all. So I would like to ask if you have performed any troubleshoot to get notifications on your Alta?

Catch you later! 🙂

Have you tried it? Many of the newer phone's are compatible, but they won't be on the list until all the functions have been tested by Fitbit. I'd something isn't working the app might have to be modified.

Welcome to the Community @Natecha. As you just mention LG V10 is not a compatible phone, our team still testing the compatibility of it. Once they verify the compatibility the Compatible Devices list will be updated. In the meantime, you can sync your tracker with a computer or a compatible phone.

It is now may, how long does it take to test for a phone to be compatible? The fitbit is cheaper than my phone if I can't connect them why should I own one? At this point shouldn't all phones be compatible? This is very disappointing.

Have you tried? My current phone (LG G4), one of my previous phones (Droid Bionic) and my tablets (Asus A100 & A500) aren't on the list and they wotk fine.

I have LG10 and Blaze. I have no problems using Blaze for text or call notifications. I haven't used the music control though I can see songs on Blaze. I love call notifications. I work in radiology and there are times I can't carry my phone. Last month my phone was in control area. I was at least 75feet away from phone - across the hall and 2 rooms down when I got call notification from my daughter's school nurse. Turned out my daughter had fallen and broken her arm. I don't know how long she would have waited before calling my work # but Call notification helped get my daughter into Dr in less than an hour from when she broke her arm.

See my post here.

Without knowing which messaging app, settings in the fitbit app, the messaging app, and tye OS need to be checked

I have the LG V10 and haven't had any issues, other that the mileage on the Blaze itself.  Fitbit needs to get their act together or they will be another company that loses business due to lack of support.

I just got my FitBit Blaze today.  I am pleased so far but I was disappointed to see that I couldn't see my text notifications from my phone.  Perhaps it's a good thing as it would probably shorten the battery charge as well as my phone's.

I asked support(via twitter) when the v10 would be compatible. They claimed they're working on it but have no idea when it will be finished testing.. Since I can't very well return my phone, I guess I'll have to return my fit bit. I f I had an idea that compatibility would be soon, I'd wait it out, but the support team wasn't helpful.
