If you are burning 3000 cals a day, that does not mean you should eat more. Eat less. If your trying to gain muscle mass, go to the gym. Get with a personal trainer and find out what you need to do to get to your goals.
Bottom line is this is a device that simply lets you know how active you are being. I would not base a diet or workout plan on it alone.

To add to what @FootNote said, I would recommend creating a food plan. As he said, your tracker will give you stats on your actual performance but you can reinforce this with a food plan and working out to achieve your goals.

@FootNote it sounds like the Blaze is overestimating calorie burn. This has been reported by others.
@Kevinp1983 you should try restarting tracker and see if that helps. There have been reports on this forum of the Blaze overestimating calories. If it continues you should contact customer support.
