Hi everyone! Just two quick questions about the Blaze's notifications system:
1) From my understand, "text message notifications" on the Surge are limited to SMS messages, meaning iMessages between iPhones do not show up on the device. Is this also true for the Blaze? Almost all of my contacts that I text on my iPhone 6 are also iPhone users, so all of their texts are iMessages. Will none of these show up on the Blaze?
2) From my understand, the Surge only shows single most recent text message, as in if you miss a text notification, a newer text will erase the old notifcation. Is this also true for the Blaze, or will it be possible to view all of the unread notifications from texts?

I'm also having periodic problems with iMessage. Sometimes they come through, sometimes they don't. I have a Surge sitting on the desk next to me and all of the messages come though on the surge, but it's 50/50 on the Blaze. SMS messages seem OK but iMessage is very spotty.

@alyssasgrammi - what phone are you using? If Android, be sure to use "messenger" and not "Messenger +".

@dmason508 @SharolM - do you have 'Show In Notification Center' enabled in your messages settings? Same issue was happening for me and this was the key.
@SharolM 'Show in Notification Center' has to be enabled under your messages settings. This was my issue - took 5 days of emailing back and forth with tech support to figure it out! Maybe it will solve your problem too.
I think the Blaze should be able to get all notifications, regardless of which app. This is the only reason why im considering returning mine at this point but I'll wear it more to see how much I like it.
I dont think the issue is with whatsapp. I have a Martian Notifier smartwatch and it can get all notifications as long as my iPhone notification screen has it. This includes whatsapp, LINE, games, news apps, everything. The capability is there, but for some reason the fitbit Blaze doesnt have it built into it. Please add this ability & I think it would improve it so much!

@Cruisinforfun9 Be sure under your phone settings, in the Notification Center, you have it set to show alerts. (If not, the messages won't get sent to it)

I can't get my messages to appear. I have an iPhone 6. I can now feel it vibrate but nothing shows up on the screen!

If you haven't tried this already, I'd recommend enabling your phone's previews @rubys3!
That usually does the trick. ![]()
