Moto X Pure Bluetooth issues

The Moto X Pure won't connect to the blaze classic bluetooth. I have spent over an hour with the representatives with no results. It says incorrect pin or password even though a pin/password never appeared. This feature is a deal maker for the blaze, and I would really like it to work. If it is already being worked on, what would the eta for the fix be?

Well that's annoying; I currently have a Gen 1 Moto X which works perfectly well with my Fitbit Surge, and I've been thinking of upgrading to a Moto X Pure.  I'll be following this thread closly.

@Ryangustaf wpuld ypu habe a dofferent way to set up the Blaze? A conputer or maybe a friends phone? It would be interesting to try.

Once a Fitbit is connected to an account,  the Android phone needs no more info them topi login,  and the Blaze should be setup.

A warm welcome to the Community @Ryangustaf@Rich_Laue and @shipo thanks for stopping by. the reason why your tracker is not connecting or might have problems connecting with your phone is because Moto X Pure is not a compatible phone. I recommend syncing your tracker with a computer or a compatible device and recommend checking our list or Compatible Mobile Devices for any update.

Will the Moto X Pure ever become a supported device?

I don't have that information @shipo but our team is currently testing the compatibility of a big amount of phones, I hope they can implement as many phones as possible in the compatible list. Just keep an eye on that list for any update.

Thanks, my current Moto X is getting a bit long in the tooth (over 3-years old now), and occasionally acts up.  Given how the mobile phone companies are now charging $700+ for most new phones, I'm probably going to opt for a new Moto X Pure for half that in the near future.

You can always take a look at the list of Compatible Phones to see if you have an option to select a phone that is compatible with the Fitbit trackers and that you would like to have @shipo

Thanks, the problem is, I want a larger phone and I won't want to pay over $700 for it; that pretty much leaves the Moto X Pure (now starting at $299 direct from Motorola) as the only game in town.  I guess I'll have to wait.

It has almost been 6 months since this was posted. Any updates on the Moto x pure compatability? I received this phone for Christmas as well as a new Fitbit. But can use it yet. Thinking I may return the Fitbit and switch to a different tracker. This is sad because I love the fitbits.

I found that it is an issue with your phone. When you first paired with the
Fitbit you didn't accept the code on both the device and watch. This screws
it up on future attempts. After resetting the watch and clearing the
Bluetooth cache on my phone I was able to connect the watch. You might have
to try a couple of times though. You could also replace the watch and it
would probably work.

I posted a message here over a month ago also - and have seen no response.  I've only had my Fitbit HR a little over a year.  To now hear that it's not compatible with the new phone I bought is really unacceptable.  It's an android Moto X Pure - no reason why Fitbit shouldn't design the sync app to work.  If Fitbit's response is going to be sync with your desktop computer (and exactly HOW do I do that ???) - or just put it in a drawer and forget it?  This will be the very last Fitbit I will ever own.

Being a new phone it might be that Fitbit is still testing it for compatability issues and working on solutions.

That said the list is just the phones tested and does not contain all the phones known to work. If you have the phone, have you tried?

I eventually got mine to work. NEVER EVER UNPAIR THEM. Getting them to pair back up is a nightmare. I'm currently fidgeting around with a second hand Surge. It didn't come with the dongle, so I have to wait until my replacement comes in a few days. As of right now they will not pair, I'm hoping that connecting to my account on a PC first will help.

You will eventually get a pairing code if you just keep trying. It took me like 50 tries, lots of ensuring that the Blaze was set to pairing. Eventually a code confirmation will appear.

I got a code to appear right away but it doesn't ever go through... did you actually get it to pair?

Fitbit Blaze --> Moto X pure

Hey there @pjncoach! Moto X Pure isn't a mobile device that's in the list of supported ones. That's why you're not able to pair your tracker with it. You may want to follow the set up procedure using a computer.

Fitbit is always trying to add new devices to the list, so you can use your Fitbit with every mobile device.

Hope this helps!

So why would I keep this Blaze I just got?  It's now Sept 2017 and Moto X Pure has been around since before the June 2016 beginning of this thread.  Does anyone from Fitbit give a #&$@?  What good is syncing with a desktop.  Just stop with that as a solution.  Fix this Fitbit..you've almost lost me and I've have your products since your beginning!!!!

I've had a Moto X, a Moto X Pure, and a Moto Z Play, all three have worked with my Fitbit trackers.  What specific features aren't working for you?
