No option for Blaze on app. . .

My wife has just bought herself a Blaze, and has entrusted lucky me with the job of setting it up.

She has a windows platform phone, a nokia lumia 920, which appears to be a compatible device. However when I downloaded the app needed to start the set up, there was no 'Blaze' option on the drop down menu in 'Join Fitbit'.

Do I try set up through one of the other options or do I need to do something else?

Thanks in advance, any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, @Ronny1314, unfortunately if your wife's phone is running Windows 8.1 you will not be able to set up the Blaze using the phone, because Windows 8.1 does not work with the newer Fitbits.  You will be able to set it up using a computer.  Once you have set up your wife's Blaze, then she MAY be able to sync the Blaze with her phone and use the app's capabilities with her Blaze.  This certainly USED to be the case (definitely was true last spring).  However, I have a feeling that in later updates of the app, even syncing with the Blaze no longer works -- but I am not sure about this.

If she is able to update to Windows Phone 10 it will be fully compatible.
