Hello,
I just walked up 4 floors however my Fitbit Blaze is only counting 3? The stairs seem to be the same. Why is it not counting one of them. I did it twice as well and still read 3. I understand that it only counts 10 stairs a piece. I also found that fitbit counts hills as stairs as well. I am assume this is do to the algorithm of the senors being used.

It does not count 10 stairs. It counts 10 feet in elevation. Big difference
Hills as long as you go up 10 feet in elevation

As mentioned, your Blaze registers a floor when it detects continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of about 10 feet. Because the tracker looks for continuous motion, pausing too long when going up a flight of stairs can cause the tracker to not count the floor.
If you see that your tracker isn't being accurate, I recommend finding a location where you have 2 flights of stairs in a row, keep in mind that each flight of stairs should be at least 10 feet tall, then walk up the 2 flights in a row and try not to stop and finally see if the stairs were registered. But before this procedure, you can restart your Blaze.
