Problems with Fitbit Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I appreciate my wife getting me a Blaze, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but the dahsboard software has too many problems, it frequently stops syncing, and valuable data is lost or not collected at all. The fact that sooooo many others are posting similar problems indicates that Fitbit is not serious about delivering a quality product. I will look elsewhere for a better product in the future. The Garmin Vivosmart looks much more reliable for about the same price. As a researcher in data science I was hoping the data might be useful in some way, but unfortunately there are too many problems with it and it is unreliable for anything but a novel look every now and then. Why spend $200 for worthless data??

Is not the watch it's the phone.  At least mine was.  My phone did an update. Then my watch started to work. Also my friends.  We have the Samsung galaxy 8+ phones.
Try to update your phone.

For some things, certainly.  You can't cover every vendor implementation of Android.  But my complaint is about devices stopping entirely, or having something crucial like the heart rate function stop altogether (no flashing green lights, with heart rate on or auto).

I would also add that support is responsive with replacements, but my gripe is they shouldn't happen so often.

For exampke, for the 2 Fitbit blazes we had, 1 was replaced (stopped working---no display), and the other had the heart rate function fail altogether.

So, valid point, from my experience, though Android updates do outpace Fitbit updates sometimes.

Yeah all are different.  Mine broke or failed they replaced.  But I agree shouldn't happen to often. Sorry.

I think the Blaze is just not really well made... They let me get a half
price watch to replace the Blaze that broke. So far I love the Alta HR. I
was never able to get the sync to work for ticularly well on the Blaze, and
this watch--or at least the one that they gave me--doesn't ever have
problems it seems.

@Lwv26 i think you misunderstood.

There is no recall on the blaze. If there was there would be an announcment in this forum alerting Blaze owers.

The blaze has been discontinued is probably what you heard. Take your pick if it replaced by Ionic or Versa.

@Lwv26 - @WendyB is correct Blaze has not been and will not be recalled. Blaze debuted in 2016, with the release of Versa this year with upgraded features, we no longer sell the Blaze tracker on Fitbit.com.

Sorry @Dogess as a community of Fitbit users we are unable to answer this question for you. Have you looked at the Returns & waranty, link is also found below. You could also contact Fitbit, link found under help below or in the top right of this page.

Now if you would like help with the inaccuracy, this may be something the comunity could help with, but i suggest starting anew thread with some details.
