Ready to quit Fitbit

I'm just about ready to switch to another brand of activity tracker.

My first fitbit charge hr lasted only 13 months and completely died. I then bought a blaze. It's not even 2 years and its crapping the bed now! For the last month or 2 it's not been syncing consistently it won't hold a charge for more than 6 hours before I have to recharge it, doesn't record my sleep, it's not been counting my steps accurately, not responding when I tap the screen to see it, all kinds of garbage is happening. I really want to upgrade to the ionic, but what's the point it this is going to happen again.

I've removed and re added the blaze from the app a few times and it will work for a few days and it happens again. Your products are way to expensive for me to keep throwing money out the window for.

Did you try restarting it?

By the way, the Versa is the replacement for the Blaze, not the Ionic. That replaced the Surge.

Yes, I know...I've been thinking of upgrading to the ionic if this one dies. But don't think I should waste more money on anything fitbit.

Yes, I've restarted it....sometimes SEVERAL times a day. I've visited all the troubleshooting posts and done what they've said.

I’m in the same boat as you. Had my Charge less than a year and it died on me; then got the Blaze- now the charge on my Blaze won’t hold (had it 14 months). Customer service gave me. 25% discount but at this rate I could have invested in an Apple Watch or Garmin.... they want people to stick around they should have a better backing of their product- particularly with loyal customers!

I agree! I did get a quick response from customer service. They suggested lots of things to try. I didn't realize that you weren't supposed to charge it with a USB hub on your computer. Instead you are supposed to plug it directly into the usb port. I did that yesterday and it held a charge all day and didn't give me any issues, and this morning the battery is still almost full. So.....I hope this is the remedy I needed. If not, and this  thing starts acting up again, I will be switching to another brand.
