I purchased the blaze expecting a Fitbit tracker but with a level of smart watch capability. I am sure that opening up device for development would allow those of us in the Fitbit community who own a blaze to get better functionality out of it. I wasn’t expecting it to be future proof for 10 years, but 10 months and it already feels out of touch, this is not great longevity. I’m sure I am not alone in trying to automate and control my home or other devices on IOT. I would like to be able to add my own buttons and controls, please release the tools to allow us to do so! Thanks.

@TommyGB map sure that you do the required search, I'm sure many of your thoughts have already been suggested. Also only one thought per suggestion
