Since the 15th April, viewed as individual days on the iPad, my resting heart rate has been stuck on the same rate of 64. I would expect this to show a straight line in the chart / graph but it hasn't updated since the 15th.
i have restarted the blaze and the iPad independently but still have the same issues. Heart rate us set to auto. Is this a problem with the app or back at Fitbit HQ? I work in the energy industry on a shift system and my resting heart rate fluctuates accordingly so a valued feature for me.

I give upon this watch. I have all the problems previously mentioned, tried all the remedies, and nothing works. Time for an Apple Watch I guess.

Well, some time back I received the expected "25% of a new item as yours is out of warranty " condescending email. These fitbits aren't cheap and should last longer than the warranty period.
My Fitbit seems to be recording the heart rate most of the time now. However, it thinks I rarely sleep, even though I wear it to bed. The erratic performance continues.
Fitbit seriously needs to consider how it's after sales service and lack of longevity of its products is affecting its reputation.
No Sleep record according to Fitbit

I have many friends and colleagues who have bought Fitbit's. However, none of them are repeat customers after their original items gave short service.

And to add insult to injury the battery now won't last much beyond 15 hours before it's out of power. I give it a full overnight charge, I get a message stating it's fully charged but after wearing it from 06:00 to 19:00 it's out of power.
At about 19 months this is the longest serving Fitbit I've had. The first Surge fell apart inside 12 months, the replacement under warranty Surge's battery died after 11 months and the Blaze has now failed after operating erratically after 19 months.......

I am well aware about the outcome of my warranty case. It is "we don't care about our customers if the 2nd warranty replacement Fitbit has failed like the others. We'll just blast them with a 25% discount offer against a new one to perpetuate our sales. Then again we'll do that even if it's inside the warranty period"
This is what's happened to me and countless others who have posted on this forum. The Fitbit share price has fallen by over $43.00 to under $4.00 since July 2015 reflecting this level of customer service I've received.

And there's no point wearing the Fitbit at night since the freshly charged Blaze won't last till the morning.

well it's not a surprise that Fitbit with its low share price is being bought out by Google.
There are are some interesting statements in the recent email I received From Fitbit confirming this.
"Dear valued Fitbit user" -
I don't feel valued at all by Fitbit's customer service, due to the lack of service.
"You, our users, are at the center of everything we do, and it’s important that you know that your trust is central to our mission has been since day one". -
Your products stop working properly after about 12 months and even though under warranty, you're first reaction is to sell me another less a small discount. Fitbit has lost the trust of countless users, as per this Forum. Note the use of the word "users" instead of customers. That tells a lot.
"......the goal is that with Google’s resources and global platform, we will be able to innovate and bring you, and our millions of other users around the world, even more great products and services to support you on your health and wellness journeys. -
If the existing products are so great, why do these expensive products expire around s 12 months old.

And earlier this week the battery would only last 6 hours from a full charge.........
