S 8+ syncing issues

I have tried all the troubleshooting along with my husband trying and I cannot get my Samsung S8+ to sync with my Blaze. It's saying it's connected as an input device but won't receive calls, texts or notifications. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help!

A warm welcome to the Community @Julesuga81 and thanks for troubleshooting this issue by  yourself.

 

If you can't sync your tracker or can't receive notifications, I recommend follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? and My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) posts.
