Setting up Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a new Fitbit blaze. I have downloaded the app and created an account. However I can not add my device as it will not get passed the I Agree to the terms and conditions screen. I click I Agree but nothing happens.

Also, the account verification email has not come through. It is not in my junk folder, the email is entered correctly and I pressed resent email but it still has not come.

Aloha @Ang-P, it's a pleasure share the Community forums with you. Cat Happy

Since you mentioned that you own a Blaze, I've moved your post from Charge HR to the right board to keep the forums organized. As a friendly reminder, you must complete all the requirements in order to setup or sync without any trouble:

  • The software on your mobile device is up to date.
  • The Bluetooth setting on your mobile device is on.
  • The Fitbit app is installed on a supported device.
  • Your mobile device isn't managing other Bluetooth connections.
  • If you use more than one Bluetooth phone, tablet, or computer to sync, the other one isn't nearby (or has Bluetooth disabled).
  • Your tracker's battery isn't critically low.

My suggestion to fix the inconvenience with the setup process is following these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app, uninstall it and restart your mobile device, then install it back.
  2. Toggle the Bluetooth from your mobile device.
  3. Restart the Blaze following these steps.
  4. If you're not able to complete the setup, I'd recommend trying with a different mobile device or a computer.

For the email with the account verification, could you please log into the online Fitbit Dashboard and check if you still receive the notification for the account verification? If so, please take a screenshot and share it here so I can check on this further.

I'll be around if you have questions.
