Will the Blaze ship directly from the Fitbit website store the day it is released in stores or Amazon? or will they ship days before so it hopefuly or will arrive the day its relased everywhere else? What im getting at is on Amazon, you can pay 3.99$ (with prime memebership) and get free over night shipping there for getting the product WAY before "standard shipping" from the Fitbit website. That is unless Fitbit will ship it ahead of time.

@mekamac @steener06 I'd recommend going with whatever platform you're more comfortable with. HIstorically, we have shipped the plum devices a tad later than the black at launch, but from my understanding, we'll have black, blue, and plum available at launch. We're still sticking to a general March ship date for the pre-orders with no solid, singular day.
I also know that we've made improvements to our manufacturing/distribution practices so that we may get those new devices out to everyone as quickly as possible at launch.
Hope this helps!

Okay so If I ordered the blaze online today does that mean I wont get it till march? When I purchased the watch it said it will take about 5 days till I would recieve it. But then I was seeing that Its not supposed to ship until march. I'm just a bit confused.

@gcourtney0828 Hey there. Welcome to the forums!
@matt9013 is correct- here. The 5-day shipping window is related to when the device is available for purchase. Our announcement was for pre-orders, meaning that when your device does ship, it should be at your address within 5 days of shipment.

Fitbit seem to be keeping their cards close to their chest. Your guess is as good as any.

@Kimberhearn Hey there, welcome to the forums!
Like @SteveH, we haven't set any solid dates for when in March, but we're working on getting them out sooner rather than later. I'll keep everyone updated if I hear any different.

I cancelled my order with Fitbit and ordered it through Amazon because they were actually able to give me a date. On amazon it says it is going to ship on the 15th and since I have prime I could pay 3.99 for 1 day shipping and get it on the 16th.
Hopefully they are right with the date. I even called and asked them.

Only people that know the date are Fitbit themselves. Amazon doesn't make the Blaze as they only sell them. That date is nothing but a guess from Amazon at this point.
Granted you will get it on day of release or day after with Prime but that date means nothing at this point. Just an estimated date like Amazon always does before they get an offical one.

Tentative shipping date is March 6th, I believe. After all the blaze orders have been sent to individuals who preordered through fitbit, then orders will be sent to the certified retailers. Overnight shipping is only 20$ and tax brings the order today to $236. It depends on the person, but I can't wait to be one of the first who step up their wrist game to the blaze!

@mekamac i think you are comparing apples to oranges, how much does Amazon Prime coast?
The easy i see it, prime at $99, then $3.99 your cost for shopping was $102.99!

Yeah well, you paid 100$ for the prime membership which doesn't offer many usuful benifits outsie of free 2day shipping or 4$ overnight shipping. So you pay about 9$ a month. Since it doesn't ship til March means you are already paying about 27$ (for Jan, Feb, and March) plus the $4 for over night. If you make orders off Amazon very frequently, sure you would ultimately save money... but otherwise you paid more than what I paid for the overnight shipping. Except I will have recieved mine before Amazon's Warehouse has, and they would then still need to process all of the orders and make sure they are going where they need to go with the appropriate shipping methods necessary for each individual order they have to fulfill... So instead of giving me your opinion on what you think a good shipping deal is, Mekamac, you should maybe think about what your actually paying for with Amazon prime and then rethink what a good deal actually means to you.

I wonder who at Amazon is giving the shipping date, i do see that Fitbit is the owner of the store on Amazon.
