Will the Blaze ship directly from the Fitbit website store the day it is released in stores or Amazon? or will they ship days before so it hopefuly or will arrive the day its relased everywhere else? What im getting at is on Amazon, you can pay 3.99$ (with prime memebership) and get free over night shipping there for getting the product WAY before "standard shipping" from the Fitbit website. That is unless Fitbit will ship it ahead of time.

Just seems like an error on Fitbit's part. From what we have heard from mods and other sites Fitbit seems pretty adament on a March release date.
Just think though, less than a month from now we could have the Blaze's in our hands 🙂

Best Buy used to not have a date but recently changed it from "no date confirmed" to "March 1"; however, Fitbit confirmed that date was not official, but just a place holder. Post #61 abd 62 in this thread shows the official response from Fitbit, it is the top of Page 4. Here was their reply to my inquiry about the Beswt Buy March 1 date:
We're looking at a few ship dates for now @racertempo, but nothing specific. I'll post more information when it comes to me, but we're shooting to get product in your hands as soon as possible.

I know you want a more definate answer, but this is still better then Microsoft releasing windows 95 in 96
Huh, they announced the Charge and Charge HR around November, did a limited pre-release option shipped direct from them to some people, then it was a month or two (depending on location) before it was really released. I am worried about date-slip, possibly into April or May as the same occurred with the HR.

Yes they annouced the Charge, Charge HR, and Surge, in the same way they anninced the Bkaze and the Alta, but no Fitbit had not, at that time, anounce a shipping date. Yes Fitbit sent out notifacations with a confirmation code to a selct few that previously showed interest in a model. The code was good for only one type of tracker. This pre-release was just that,... a pre-release and not the official release date of where anyone would be able to find it in their local store.
This first group recieved their notifacation before any availability date was announced to the public, and it had no bearing on the official date.
Speculation has it that the early release came from one of the first production runs. Then after fitbit had enough in the warehouse it was released, note also that even when the early ones were getting their Fitbits a release date still had not been announced.
If you also remember several places announced a shipping date on their website, and a few days later it was noted that the shipping date had been removed.

Those of us who use Amazon for everything (2 or more orders a week) find the cost to be pretty insignificant comparatively. At an average of $8.95 for shipping, that would be over $900 annually without prime. It's all about how much use you get out of it.
@Gunafish wrote:Yeah well, you paid 100$ for the prime membership which doesn't offer many usuful benifits outsie of free 2day shipping or 4$ overnight shipping. So you pay about 9$ a month. Since it doesn't ship til March means you are already paying about 27$ (for Jan, Feb, and March) plus the $4 for over night. If you make orders off Amazon very frequently, sure you would ultimately save money... but otherwise you paid more than what I paid for the overnight shipping. Except I will have recieved mine before Amazon's Warehouse has, and they would then still need to process all of the orders and make sure they are going where they need to go with the appropriate shipping methods necessary for each individual order they have to fulfill... So instead of giving me your opinion on what you think a good shipping deal is, Mekamac, you should maybe think about what your actually paying for with Amazon prime and then rethink what a good deal actually means to you.
