Sleep stages for Blaze

I have a Fitbit Blaze and the help section states it should show me my sleep stages, for example, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM.  My app and dashboard are not showing me this information.  It is only showing me time asleep, time restless, and time awake.  Where do I go to see my sleep stages?  I have had my Blaze for a year now and it has never shown my sleep stages.

Thank you.

My new blaze showed me sleep stages ie deep REM etc the first night I owned it but now has reverted back to sleep patern which is less informative and not what I paid for

Stages has never worked in my Charge 2. I contacted Fitbit Customer Service. Reinstalled app several times and updated firmware. Still doesn't work.

Mine worked. When I first open the App in the morning I let it sync
(takes 5-10 secs) a little green circle turns in the top left Corner, then I tap on or open the sleep portion of the app. I am going assume if you open it to quickly it will utilize the basic information but if allowed to organize the data it will show sleep stages

For 3 days my fitbit blaze showed the more advanced sleep stages, then switched back to the more basic sleep data. I have been unable to access advanced sleep stages since then, although I do get sleep insights. Was that 3 days just a teaser to get me hooked? I am! Want more! Any help would be appreciated.

Reset by holding down left button and bottom right button for 10 seconds or until Fitbit logo appears. Then turn it all the way off. Then when it is back on make sure the Heart rate monitor is turned from Auto to ON. In the morning when you wake up and open the Fitbit app watch the little green circle in the upper left corner spin. Wait for it to finish (syncing). It only takes seconds, then open the sleep portion of the app.

I agree.
I think they wanted this feature to be part of the Alta HR rollout but they did it before it was ready for prime time. They gambled and lost (so far) by making announcements and promises prematurely. We'll see how this plays out.

Relatively speaking it's early. Less than 2 weeks since release (that I'm aware of) I haven't had any issues for nearly a week and I'm going to assume they're working tirelessly to resolve the issue. Nobody wants negative publicity. And no I do not work for them, haha. Just feel hopefully confident that things will improve shortly for those that are still having issues.

Hi Stuvine,

Same for me, have had sleep stages since 27th March without a hitch until last night, back with the original "awake, restless & asleep".

Really like the sleep stages, I hope Fitbit sort out the software shortly.

There are steps within the Forum to reset and sync your Blaze. If it doesn't work Call their customer Support. They are good at helping

How do you reset on the iPhone? What is this Left and Right button?

I thought I wasn’t getting the cycles; however, Stuvine was correct if you swipe to the left you get 3 different screens the 3rd showing below. If you tap on a day in the bottom of the screen you get a drill down for that sleep cycle but still no details that I can see.

Sorry, I can't always get back right away. Hold the button down on the Left of your Fitbit while at the same time hold the Lower Right Button down at the same time for about 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen. Then after that turn it all the way off and then back on. Then turn the Heart Rate Monitor from Auto to ON. Check in the morning.

I've only gotten two nights in a row and from Fri/sat night, it stopped working again.  I did precisely what you mentioned there and it still didnt work.  Not too sure what you mean by "Then after that turn it all the way off and then back on." ??  Even with HR on, rather than auto, it didn't work.  Smiley Sad

My apologies Ferdinand but this is unacceptable. I had 12 days of sleep stages showing up and then all of a sudden it is gone. The lack of communication on behalf of Fitbit is wrong. If you are having problems with the rollout you should say so. The rollout for the blaze has already been done and as I mentioned it worked fine for 12days. It is the one feature that sets you apart from others so you should communicate openly about what is going on. I'm looking forward to a solution or at least some type of explanation instead of spending my time trolling the internet looking for answers.
