Is it possible to stream the heart rate to an android app to see the live HR while i am doing elliptical training ?
I really do not want to have to take my hands of the swinging bars to look at it.
Thanks.

You sure can use the Fitbit app.
As you exetcise, the tracker connects to the app.. Then the app is acting like a remote display.
See this help doc.. Or go to the help sight, link below, then type in "live"

Thanks. I did not see or know that but maybe because of the last sentence in the article:
If you're using the Android app, you'll only see heart rate data if you have call, text, or calendar notifications enabled.
I have not enabled any notifications as i am not interested to use it as a smartwatch. Does that mean that i cannot se the live HR then.
If so, i am back to my original question.
Thanks.

Just got the blaze tonight. Was a pain to setup. Could not download the firmware from my nexus 4. Kept failing. Tried a windows 7 pc but kept asking for the missing dongle. Could not find the workaround. Finally used my surface pro tablet with the windows 10 app and it works flawlessly. Synced it back to my nexus.
If i have notifications turned off both on the phone and the watch, i have to assume that i do not get caller ID.

You have the tracker setup and updated.
If you have have notifacations turned off then yes there will be no caller ID or text notifacations, your app may not display real time data.
I'll have to try when I get home but I just disabled notifacation then tried it with the Charge HR and was able to see real time stats, with heart, distance and steps.
My first thought is to try it, after starting the app you'll need to wait for the sync.

Sorry for the dumb question but what is motifs atkins ?
I guess i could turn on calendar notifications. That is not too intrusive.

it says in the manual:
If you're using the Android app, you'll only see heart rate data if you have call, text, or calendar notifications enabled.
i have calendar enabled, all day sync and gave the permissions on the phone.
in the dashboard, i only see -- and no hr
what am i missing ?
thanks

Solved the issue. I have another tracker that is conflicting it looks like. Killing the other app fixes that. I'll double check it to be sure later on but i saw the HR being displayed.
